We come to this location once a year after decorating our Christmas tree at Brookfield Zoo. We always have a large group, 15 to 20 people and they are always accommodating. For such a large group, no reservations, they always handle us well and the service is phenomenal. The food is good and it's pretty consistent with the Orland Park location where we usually dine.
Dietary restrictions: Their menu is easy to accommodate dairy, gluten, and nut allergies
Parking: City parking lot behind the building is within a short walk
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu offers both Mexican and American options
Such a disappointment. After enjoying the downtown shops on a beautiful fall afternoon, I decided to try lunch here. Their large dining room door was open allowing for a great outdoor sidewalk vibe. My first hint of a problem came when after 5 minutes of waiting to be seated without being acknowledged or seeing ANY staff, I turned to leave. From somewhere in the back, a woman came hustling upfront and seated me by the large window, which was perfect. She brought nachos and salsa and I ordered shrimp Diablo. The salsa was pretty much without flavor and what flavor it did have I didn’t recognize plus there was zero spicy heat to it. My shrimp came out in a timely manner along with rice, lettuce, sour cream. The Diablo sauce tasted like it had a large amount of ketchup as an ingredient, and had zero spicy heat to it. I’ve had this dish before at other restaurants and loved it even when it was so hot I could barely keep from screaming, but that’s the way I like it! My shrimp and rice were as bland as a tasteless pudding served in a hospital. The waitress came back once, and that was after I flagged down another waitress for a drink refill. She brought my check, but never came back to pick it up my credit card for payment. Once again I had to find another waitress to accept payment for my meal. I wish I had been able to enjoy a margaritas as that may be the only thing can prepare. I give it one star for service. One star for food, and three stars for atmosphere. This could be a nice Mexican restaurant, but they’ll need to totally revamp the recipes first.

The steak tacos is my and my husbands go to, the steak melts in your mouth and the flavor always brings us back for more. We also love the Millionaire margarita. Thank you also to Idania for always making our experience there the best experience. 🙂
If you wanna get drunk off margaritas go here. My food was good my only complaint was they didn't offer regular white rice because I'm weird and don't like peas or corn and stuff like that.

Service incredibly slow. Took 10 mins to take us right now. Rice and beans incredibly cold :( at least the meat was hot enough. Soda- room temperature with ice. So if you're into really cold drinks- you won't get it here.

Great food, but that's as far as it goes. The service is not good. I went on a Saturday, and the atmosphere and service were that of a store about to close. The workers obviously had nothing to do, as they just stood around and conversed with each other. That wouldn't be as bad if they weren't literally doing this 20 feet from us. It was like they were watching us eat. Our waitress stood there talking the whole time we were there, only waiting on us when we called her. It was like this was their hangout spot, and we were just there so they could get paid. It's even worse during the week. The times I went, they didn't even have music playing. It feels like we're not even welcome. Anyway, I will no longer come here and watch it slowly deteriorate, not because of the changing environment, but because of the lack of service and respect for their customers.
