Normally I enjoy the sweet and sour stir fry and edamame but this time I was very disappointed by the overpowering burned soy sauce taste of the noodles. It over powered the flavor of the chicken making it unpleasant. Oddly enough when I ate my chicken it was cold/warm while the noodles were hot.

Super disappointed with this location. Not sure if it was just bad timing but we tried to order multiple different menu items that they said they were out of, the dining room was very unkept, and the young lady at the register was not very welcoming. The ramen and stir fry were fresh and probably the only okay thing about this visit.

If you want authentic Ramen, skip this place. Food was not great. If you’re looking for something to just fill your belly because your hungry, it’s fine.

This used to be our favorite spot for ramen, Today had a horrible experience with the cashier woman, she was very rude that type of rude you see in kids that are like “ waterever im just here for a paycheck” the stir fried rice i order was overpowered by garlic and soggy when i brought it up she looked at me like i was the one in the wrong and told me thats the way its supposed to be made did not offer a refund just pretty much your screwed, chat gpt answer on why the rice should not have tasted that way If the fried rice at the restaurant tasted overwhelmingly like garlic and was mushy, they probably:
1. Used too much garlic – Some places overdo it, especially if they rely on garlic paste or powder.
2. Overcooked or over-sauced the rice – Too much liquid (soy sauce, oil, or other seasonings) can make it soggy.
3. Used low heat or overcrowded the pan – Instead of a proper stir-fry, the rice might have steamed.
4. Used freshly cooked rice – Some restaurants cut corners by not using day-old rice, leading to a mushy texture.

If it wasn’t enjoyable, that spot might not make their fried rice well. It should have a light garlic flavor, not overpowering, and the grains should stay separate, slightly chewy, and not mushy. Might be worth trying a different restaurant!

My food was cold and looked unappetizing as if it was made in a microwave. The establishment looked dirty.

Food described as Japanese curry was bunch of
rice, dried up chicken “cubes”, goopy sauce and tasteless broccoli. I remember this place as vibrant years ago. What happened ?

Pretty good soup, but instead of substituting broccoli for noodles as agreed on the phone, they added an extra charge for the broccoli and gave us no noodles.

A low carb diet is challenging enough without restaurants overcharging you! 😔 😕

Had the pork tonkotsu. Noodles were starchy and mushy without chewiness. Broth tasted watered down and had no richness. It came with broccoli too which was very weird too.

I feel cheated, not what I was expecting AT ALL! Let me first suggest you go to Strings Ramen in Chinatown. That place really knows how to make good Ramen!
This was my experience: Poor! My Shrimp Miso was edible, but lacking. The broth had good flavor, but it was affected by the starch of the noodles. There were clump of store bought noodles in my bowl, which tells me they don’t rinse the noodles before serving them. (I’m not against store bought noodles, but at least cook them properly like I do at home.) Not enough vegetables in the noodles, the only three veggies were bok choy, green onions and broccoli. I suggest you add more vegetables like carrots and corn. Broccoli was raw and the broth was not hot enough to soften it, so I ate it raw. The soft boiled egg was cold, and you do not mix cold ingredients in a warm broth. By the way, you get half of the egg, not a whole egg. It was breaded shrimp, and breaded shrimp does NOT work at all with broth. I think these small additions will make your already expensive bowl of ramen worth the price people already pay.
The beef stir fry noodles was VERY SALTY. Salt is not the only seasoning, and if you are already using soy sauce (which is salty) you reduce the amount of salt added to your dish. Beef cuts were overcooked and bland (ironic since the noodles were salty) All together (including a tip you leave before receiving service) was $59.24. Like I said, if you had good ramen in the past you’ll be very disappointed and will feel cheated. If this is your first time, it may be ok for you.

$16.95 for a bowl of ramen might be worth it but they’ll charge you extra to add some spice or flavor. No thanks!

Tatum B was a great help in explaining the men since this was my first time eating here. The roman was delicious and the appetizers were tasty (chicken dumplings and tempora shrimp). Will definitely be coming back. Thanks for a great experience.

I have NO idea what happened to this place.

We were one of the first customers on opening day and met the owner and later his wife. Each dish was prepared and served with care. It was delicious and well portioned.

On our most recent visit, it seems like everything was out and like the restaurant has been forgotten about by management. The fountain machine was broken, the tapioca for the milk tea was spoiled. Tried to order 2 different sides (Pork Bao, Egg Roll) both were unavailable.

The food quality has declined dramatically as well. My son and I ordered the beef stir fry and we received 4 pieces of tough, charred, dry, and flavorless beef in a bowl of over oily noodles. My wife got the pork tonkatsu and the pork belly looked like 3 small strips of bacon that had been cooked 45 minutes too long. The broth was tepid at best. Even our "plain" ramen bowl was inedible.

I truly hope this place recovers, but for now, we won't be back.
