GP Italiano offers a fine dining experience with a bubbly, delicious pizza and a cozy interior. The restaurant is suitable for special events, as their service is generally attentive and friendly. Customers often enjoy some of the best pizza, with the dough praised as perfection. The menu features popular dishes like the Crispy Prosciutto, Octopus appetizer, Caesar salad, chicken limone, chicken parm, spinach ravioli, and sausage & pepper risotto. They also offer great deals such as half off appetizers on Sunday and 2 pizzas for $22 days, making it a good choice for those seeking value. The honey ricotta appetizer is highly recommended, and the portions are generous, with some dishes like the sausage & pepper risotto large enough to take home. The ambiance is lively, with a nice bar and outdoor garden decor, perfect for casual dinners or special celebrations. Customers appreciate the variety of pasta options and fresh, flavorful dishes. While some find the food prices a bit high and have experienced occasional service issues like missing drink refills or errors on the bill, many still enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and the quality of the food. Overall, GP Italiano remains a popular spot for a relaxed yet stylish Italian meal in downtown La Grange.
