We love this place! Some of the best pizza I’ve had-the dough is perfection. Highly recommend the Crispy Prosciutto. Love the Octopus appetizer and Caesar salad as well. Can’t beat the half off apps on Sunday and the 2 pizzas for $22 days.

Absolutely delicious homemade pastas and pizza. The pizza crust is aged three days and is soft and delicious. Beautiful interior with lively atmosphere.

Made reservations on their website for 4 adults at 4:30 pm. On reservation I said we were celebrating a birthday. Got to restaurant 15 minutes early. Seated right away. Waiter came over and filled water glasses and left a full carafe. Asked if we wanted any appetizers. We said no and he said he would be right back. We ordered drinks (2 red house wine & ice tea). Drinks came right away. He came back and we ordered entrees (chicken limone, chicken parm, spinach ravioli, and sausage & pepper risotto). All dinners were very good. Waiter came back and asked if everything was OK. He never came back to offer us more drinks. No refill of iced tea. No birthday treat. When we got the bill we were charged full price ($14 each) for the two glasses of wine. We called waiter and asked why we did not receive the happy hour price ($9 each). He corrected the bill. We probably will not be back.

Dear Jo and Team,

I want to express my deepest gratitude for the remarkable service you provided during our recent celebration of life.

Your team rose to the occasion, ensuring a seamless and meaningful gathering. The food, drinks, and restaurant were secondary—what truly mattered was bringing family and friends together to honor a special person, and your team understood and embodied that priority in every detail of your work. Your empathy and professionalism made all the difference, creating a space where we could focus on love and remembrance.

Thank you for making such a difficult day so meaningful.

Beautiful restaurant in a great atmosphere. The pizzas are so good and the pasta and sauces are made fresh every day, and you can tell. Short rib is 100! I love coming here.

Was seated on a Saturday night late by a very polite hostess. All we wanted was a few drinks and some dessert. Our server Jorge C approached the table and when we told him we were there for a few drinks and some dessert he made some snide remarks under his breath how we shouldn’t have gotten a table and that we were taking a reservation space even though the hostess sat us no problem. He then sarcastically stated “Why didn’t you get a seat at the bar, these aren’t even the dessert menus. I guess I’ll go grab one” in a very condescending voice and manner. At this point I was ready to get up and leave but my date wanted to stay for the pumpkin cheesecake which was phenomenal. Afterward he came up and tried to make everything okay but between his initial response and the half ass apology I was very dissatisfied. Overall it doesn’t matter if I’m there for a full dinner which I have been, appetizers or dessert I didn’t appreciate the tone and the overall disrespect that Jorge displayed and for this reason I will not be returning in the future.

Best pizza I’ve ever had. I’m not exaggerating, the crust has got just enough saltiness and tang but doesn’t overpower the sauce. It’s thin but not soggy. Crisp on the bottom but not overcooked. Chewy but fluffy. Maybe it’s a sourdough crust? No idea but I’ll be back.

We also loved our server, who didn’t blink at our toddler’s shenanigans, and the beautiful art by local painter Lizzie Selle.

Kid-friendliness: It’s upscale but very accommodating, good kids menu

Inexperienced and overworked servers--understaffed restaurant. Extremely loud at 8 pm on Saturday night and hard surfaces exacerbate the problem--had to yell to speak to my dinner companion across the table. Food is mediocre: nice size pork shank but dry and served with dry crumby polenta, hardly any braising liquid/sauce and rock hard carrots. Cesar salad was similar to what one would get at a neighbor pizza joint. The best part were the two glasses of wine, which were surprisingly good given the generally low quality of service and food.

The food was very authentic and delicious! I highly recommend going! I had the chicken Limone with risotto and my husband had rigatoni with vodka sauce and sausage. Both delicious and plentiful! The risotto was one of the best I’ve ever had!

GP Italiano came out to the local cocktail bar Opry Provisions (in Western Springs - not far away) this past weekend to cook food for patrons catching the Bears game (like we did). Everything we had was amazing! The spicy pizza was cooked right in the mobile wood-fire pizza oven and came out superb. We also tried some of the brats which were tasty. The wife, however, says the gem of the game-day cooking were the fresh cooked hot wings. There was some magic going on in that wood fire grill and we had to get two rounds of wings -- as they were that amazing. Hoping that GP Italiano makes it a weekly occurrence of showing up at Opry Provisions! We will be returning if so!

Not sure if it was a mistake but server had two extra charges doubling the total. When I pointed it out, he didn't even acknowledge it. Be careful!

If it wasn't for Brian I don't think I would have really liked it too much but I did enjoy the wine .. the truffle Pizza ordered on my behalf could have used a little more truffle but there was "absolutely hardly none" on the pie . Brian's service was exceptional.. and I would come back because the service is Great hopefully can have a better experience with the food next time it's good to know the service is there.. especially residing here in the Grange and knowing that there's good people still tending to others..
