I ordered Doordash and received food but hardly no meat and no sauces. So I called and was told I could get an IOU well I wanted to eat so I had to go get sauce and more brisket and I thought I would get a whole new order now I gotta heat up my sandwich and eat cold hush puppies and street corn.

The food was all very hot and fresh and the food was also very tasty and if you get the family meal you will have leftovers for a week. The family meal was around 100$ but there was so much food my family of five plus two friends were all stuffed with so much leftovers.

Take out order for 10 wings only had 9. Mistakes happen but when you increase your prices so high, it makes it disappointing. I already quit ordering your sandwiches since you shrunk the size and now seems like you did the same for sides. Regular size brussel sprouts only half filled and looks the size of what used to be your small in regular bowl. Absolutely love the taste of your food and service is always great but business ops are starting to make it tough to stay a customer.

I used to be a big fan of the pit. It’s very disappointing but today is finally the day i give up on it. This used to be my family and Is’ spot! That was around 5+ years ago. After 2018 seems like it’s taken a turn. I’ve tried time and time again to try and experience what it once was. When i first started coming in it was always packed, surprise at the little people that do come at this point. I got ribs and they were dry and seemed old (like every time i’ve been in on the past 4 years). They’re mac and cheese used to have crushed cheese it’s and now it seems u recognizable in taste and looks. My favorite part was the cornbread it was moist, but who comes in for just cornbread? My theory is they expanded and left the LaGrange location to not as good management. Maybe they’re other locations have a different experience. Again very disappointed in the downfall of this location. Service was fine though. Prices are too much. I got mac and cheese, a full slab and a small cornbread for 50 bucks.

Ordered a simple pulled pork sandwich with bbq sauce through delivery because I’m at work and can’t leave. Arrived with no sauce. So, $20 sandwich I had to take home for the dogs because they didn’t include bbq sauce. Their offer to resolve this? Next order, they’ll include extra sauce. So insulting, Enraged, hungry, and out $20. I can’t eat your apologies. Never again.Did you seriously think I didn’t add the bbq sauce choice? You commented online before you even re-checked the order? Was it just a bad day or is the staff totally this careless? Anyway, the dogs liked it.

Good decent BBQ. Is it the best you may ask yourself and the answer is it's decent. Will is satisfy your craving after 12 hours on a plane.. most definitely. Nice staff and a wash station not in a bathroom area bug

BLUF: Delicious BBQ, served up fast with a good atmosphere.-had the Brisket Burnt ends… very very delicious!-Large menu, but I’ve only gotten the burnt ends every time I’ve come here, too good!-nice atmosphere with good music-Bottled and canned beer and wine available-you order your food at a counter and they bring your food to your tableReally enjoy this place, if you like meat, eat here!!
This restaurant has been featured on so many different shows through Chicago and through Food Network. The prices here are absolutely awesome. The pulled pork sandwich was amazing. The chimichurri sandwich special with the french fries was also great. I would highly recommend the brisket beans and the hush puppies those were really tasty. Very clean with very friendly staff. Great place to stop by in Lagrange.

They do not allow substitutions for the papa q platter anymore we drive an hour just to eat here very disappointed we will not be returning, food even taste different, especially the sausage.

I absolutely love the menu here and the food is always outstanding whenever I'm here. I love their sauce options at the table as well! I always feel like I get my money's worth here. And the staff is always very nice at the register and they do great job at always keeping the place clean even though the food is messy (in a great way)!
