This was my first time coming here and I was excited to try it. The place is nice nothing special , the service was good but the food was just OK. I had the filet and added the shrimp. The steak was about the size of an egg (extra small for a filet) and it was over cooked! I couldn't even taste the parmesan crust I added and the 4 little shrimp which were dry as well. This meal was in no way worth over $60Way over priced for the quality of the food.

Underwhelmed. That's how I felt all throughout dinner and after. This place feels like it doesn't know what it wants to be. The menu looks solid and had a nice variety, but the food is not high quality. It's trying to be more than what it is, but it falls flat. "Relaxed steakhouse" came across like it didn't know its identity. The food is average and overpriced; it's the kind of food that looks nice on instagram but isn't nearly as tasty as it appears. Italian beef and Philly cheesesteak egg rolls: two egg rolls cut in half, no dipping sauce, and it cost 14. Hard pass on this. The Philly egg roll had meat and cheese and nothing else to it. Bland. Meatloaf and mashed potatoes: server recommended the meatloaf over the pork chop, it was okay. Seemed to have a lot of pepper in it. Mashed potatoes were a nice consistency, but they needed salt. Apple crumble: disappointment. I don't know what happened here. Where was all the crumble? The filling was gloopy and looked like it came from canned apple pie filling. We hardly ate half of it. I also had their drink special which was a gin and cranberry cocktail. It came with a rosemary sprig. The sprig was overtaking the cup. It was trying to be a fancier cocktail but executed poorly and looked silly. Last thing, this is a place where you can grab a sandwich and a beer or a steak and a nice drink. If you're going for a nice dinner out, it takes you out of your element to see servers wearing t-shirts and jeans. Dress code for servers should be a bit nicer than what it is, even for a relaxed steakhouse. The place has potential but needs more work and better execution.

Good food and very good service. We went here for a birthday celebration and each of us ordered a steak for dinner. We found the food to be very good and would definitely return.

This restaurant has amazing service, great vibes, and overall its a great restaurant. However the food for the price is mediocre. We had both the chicken piccata, and their steak and fries, and both were not impressive for how the restaurant presents itself. The steak was bland itself, and though the quality of the meat was there, the dish itself lacked body. The chicken piccata was overwhelmingly acidic and had too much lemon. If you're looking for good sitdown restaurants I would recommend looking elsewhere for the price you're going to pay here.

A hidden GEM! The food was quality. The pricing was affordable. The staff were welcoming and proud to work there. They love their jobs and it showed with the quality of service and of course the perfectly cooked steak and other dishes they were delicious. I definitely recommend this place. The only thing I didn't like were statues and figures of pigs on the mantle by the wine. I would definitely get rid of that it takes away from the ambiance. Overall definitely returning and recommending this to friends and family.

Was greeted right away and seated for our reservation. Goat cheese app was delicious. I had the Chicken Piccata. It was a good portion. Friday night was busy, so I would recommend a reservation, especially around a holiday. LaGrange has a great downtown area with many restaurants and shops.

The cook for the day needs to understand the hamburger doneness of Medium-Well. Is not red and undercooked, the French frying is crispy and not limp like a worm and soggy with oil to bad Chef Michele was not cooking. The waitress forgot our order of augratin potatoes The restaurant was not busy for a 5:00pm Sunday dinner 12/28/2023

We tried this restaurant during Restaurant week. Ambiance was great in the back area. Service was excellent. Food was below fair. I had a steak and there was a huge white tendon left in the steak. The peanut butter pie and key lime dessert tasted store bought. Just not great quality food.
