I went here because I wanted to try something local. It’s very frustrating when you ask for sandwich with no lettuce or tomato and happen to get lettuce and tomato on the sandwich. This was acknowledged on the receipt. Not to mention I was the only customer in there, so it’s not like they’re overwhelmed. Also the bread tasted like it was not in the bag for 2 days. I probably could’ve just went back and got credit for it but it’s not even worth the inconvenience. If local food places want to separate themselves from chains like Panera and Jimmy Johns, stride on accuracy and freshness. It makes no sense to come back here and spend $15 on a stale sandwich and pray it’s made correctly. The only reason it’s not a one star is because the cashier was really friendly. I know that this is not the biggest screw up, but this was a very simple modification. Cmon guys.

What I ordered (online):
Swanson's Veggie
Loaded with veggies - lettuce, tomato, onion, cucumber and roasted red peppers with hummus on a fresh baked pretzel roll. Served with a side of one of our home made deli salad and a pickle.
1 Olipop: Ginger Ale
1 Bag Chips
What I received:
No Olipop available - I was offered another drink of my choice
1 bag of chips
A sandwich that barely resembled what I ordered...no cucumber, no hummus, and no pretzel roll
I didn't realize any of this until I opened the bag when I got home.
Do better Swansons!

I really liked this spot. The place has the old-school rustic look.. The staff were super friendly and made conversation, which you don’t get much anymore.
I got the Italian sub, it came with mortadella, hot capicola, Genoa salami, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, oil, and vinegar on Italian bread. First bite, I was like yes… this is it. The flavor just hits right, salty, tangy, and a little spicy from the capicola. Bread had that perfect chew, not too soft, not rock hard. Maybe could’ve been a little toastier but that's just me, but honestly, it was solid.
We also got the Turkey Cobb. Roasted turkey, blue cheese, and applewood smoked bacon on thick sourdough with avocado. That one was so good. The blue cheese really stood out, packed a flavorful punch that tied it all together. Portions were generous too, I didn’t even finish it all in one go. I’d definitely come back and try the other sandwiches.

Super disappointed by the sandwich i got. For $15 you expect the sandwich to have a good balance of meat and other ingredients. There was a few pieces of meat and so much bread. Definitely not worth the price

Swanson’s Deli is one of my favorite spots. The food is always amazing. The sandwiches are seriously some of the best I’ve ever had, and the dips are packed with flavor.
The service is just as good as the food. Everyone is friendly and respectful, and if Kevin or Sam are working, you’re in great hands. Kevin and Sam are super thoughtful and makes every sandwich with care. They bring great energy and always makes sure you get exactly what you want and more. Both of them really go the extra mile.
Can’t recommend this place enough.

The woman who works there who gave us the whole intro and explanation of everything was really great. They have a wide variety of options and make most of their stuff in house. Don’t sleep on this deli!

Food was excellent. I shared a small ham and avocado sandwich on gluten free multi grain bread with my 3 year old and spent $18, which would not be doable to bring our family of 5. The bread was delicious, but significantly added to the cost. Love the variety of chips and crackers in stock, but with what we paid for the one sandwich, we didn’t get anything additional. Cute spot, great food, friendly service.

Nice variety of meats at this little Deli/sub shop. Fresh and they have a variety of soda bottles made with real cane sugar as apposed to high fructose corn syrup.
