I visited this restaurant with four friends, and we had a reservation for the rooftop. The atmosphere was great—clean, inviting, and a perfect spot to enjoy the evening. Our server, Katrina, was outstanding—very friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the night.
The food was absolutely delicious! The steak was cooked to perfection, and the lobster rolls were incredible. Everyone in our group ordered something different, and every single dish was amazing. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with excellent service and food. I’d highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back.

Loved the food and service was great. We sat on the roof. It's a covered rooftop with a metal roof. The noise was ridiculous. Very difficult to talk! When we first arrived the sun was glaring And even though they have shades to pull down It was too windy to pull them down so we were blinded for about 30 minutes until the sun set. I would suggest going at a time when the sun is already setting.

We love coming here whether its for a quick drink or to have dinner, the atmosphere is perfect with an upbeat positive vibe. It can get fairly loud during peak hours but that never bothered us because the people that go here are all having a good time.

Drove all the way over here from Indiana to have lunch with a friend and the rooftop was closed. This is my second time this happened. Very disappointing.
Fast and friendly service. The food was all delicious and cooked to perfection. The only downside was one of the plates had a big piece of chewing gum stuck on the bottom. We didn’t see it until after we had finished dinner and tried to move the plate so it kind of grossed us out. We told the waitress, but she didn’t seem to really care about it.

The Elm is a delightful place to relax and have some appetizers. We ordered the hummus and brussel sprouts; both were delicious. The hummus was full of flavor and was topped with some fresh chopped veggies and roasted chick peas. The brussel sprouts were roasted crisp and drizzled with honey. We sat outside. Our waitress was extremely pleasant and checked on us often. A staff member cleared our completed plates. The only thing that was surprising was the flat 3% surcharge. On the bottom of the menu, it said we could inquire about it. On a couple apps, a beer, and iced tea, it was only $1.11.

We sat on the rooftop and atmosphere was good, but can be hard to hear due to the patron noise. The food is pricy,so we made our meal out of the different appetizers(pear & brie flatbread,crab cakes, brussel sprouts, beet salad)finished up with cheddar burger to get a better experience and it was good. Our server and was on point.
It is difficult to find parking due to so much going on the La Grange strip so set aside some extra time if you have reservations .
Complaints: (1)Our table was dirty,sticky and shaky.We moved to a different table which was sturdy but still sticky and dirty.You need to do a better job with cleanliness.
(2)My bill had a 3% service charge on it which I pointed out.My server took it off. My server told us multiple people complain but owner still charges it. This also affects the server getting shorted on tips . REMEMBER:The servers do not get that charge.
These complaints are the reason for my 2 star rating and not the food which would rate at a 4 star.
You charge more than enough for your food and drinks,so I hope my complaints point out the needed changes to make the experience better for patrons going forward as these will keep me from visiting in the future.
