I’ve visited Wonderful Matcha a few times and have always had good experiences, but today was my last time visiting. Today, I visited the store with my 2 year old and husband & the employee had a dog in the store. Of course my daughter was excited and approached the dog a little faster than normal because she was excited. The dog barked at her very loudly and aggressively to which my daughter became visibly upset, but the employee still told my daughter not to run after the dog. I’m all for having our furry friends inside stores, but they should NOT be there if they aren’t comfortable around kids or anyone really.

The owner made me a cup of tea that had no flavor at all. It was too hot to drink at the store, so I didn’t know until I got home. She said next time I come in I will have one free cup on my phone number when I return. Today I came in and theire was nothing noted in their system. She is not customer friendly in any way. On a positive note, all of her employees are great!

I got myself a matcha, it was okay, should’ve asked for extra sweetener, the matcha was too astringent and kind of chalky tasting, only took 3 sips, the taste wasn’t what I hoped it to be especially from a place who specializes in matcha, but at least the worker was nice… the stuff is a bit overpriced. :(

Awesome matcha powder, though pricey. To be clear, the matcha is definitely worth it, but as one who consumes it daily, it’s nice to have a cheaper “culinary” grade option especially for matcha latte. The other teas they sell are also great, and of course they make a great matcha latte in-store. If I lived nearby, I would be here a lot!
