I often catch myself reminiscing about the absolutely unforgettable flavor of the brisket and ribs here. The brisket is cooked to perfection. no exaggeration. The ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender, and when you pair them with the sauces? Absolutely divine. Even the pickles are delicious and refreshing.
I'm not the biggest fan of the mac & cheese, but, I'm not there for the mac. And to anyone complaining about the oak-wood smoky flavor... respectfully, grow up. That's real barbecue.
I drive two hours just to get a taste, and every single time, it's worth it. I miss yall and I hope to return again soon.

Foremost, this is THEE BEST place of its kind across many counties; I’d venture to say further but I haven’t had em’ all. We got platter of pork ribs that were monstrous and delicious with a heap of brisket that was tender and tasty with or without the sauce. Everything, from sauce to sides, mac ‘n’ cheese, greens, and baked beans were exceptional.
Couldn’t find a hang up or loose end. The owner was kind and neighborly. Would drive well out of the way for more.

Delicious BBQ. Simple but mouth watering delicious. I've been here a week and eaten here FOUR times. I really also like the Mac and cheese, baked beans, and corn bread. I never have room for dessert, but I hear they are homemade and delicious. Sit outside and enjoy a lovely view of the river while the kids play on the playground. Edit: Dessert varies by the day, today I had peach cobbler and homemade ice cream, and it was soooo good!

These guys make great food but they're never open when they say they are. The hours change every single week and more often than not you'll call and nobody will answer the phone for take out orders.
