I dine in this lovely place many times a year! This is the best place to eat. I go to this spot frequently. The cooking is just great, the staff members are professional and the rates are fair. I like meeting in this restaurant over a good supper.

Food here was so good!!! We had a large group of over 20 personnel. We were loud and rowdy, but the service from Laurie was TOP NOTCH! She was awesome! The “All You Can Eat” crab legs on Wednesday is amazing!!!

I just went there for the first time tonight... the food was really pretty good. I didn't expect it to be terrible, by any means, but it was quite good. The BBQ chicken pizza had a nice crispy crust and a generous amount of toppings. My girlfriend's fries came out hot and were near perfect, and she really liked her chicken sandwich. So all of that, and only two stars? Well, yeah... the service was, honestly, terrible. We got seated quickly enough but waited far too long for our first table touch. The server was pleasant and funny, but once he got our orders he basically disappeared on us. The only time he checked in on us, my girlfriend's sandwich was already completely gone (thankfully there were no problem with our orders) and I ordered a second beer. Our server didn't even deliver that second beer, and then we waited a half-hour or so *after* we finished our food and drinks before we chased someone down to pay our bill. There was no one at the host's station, so we had to find a bartender. Good food, but the service makes me want to stay away.

After writing a not so friendly review on the Lake House in Lake Villa I thought hey why not try out Lake House in Lake Bluff. They did not even greet us when we walked in and the lady who sat us had no personality. The server was not attentive and the place was freezing. Just don't get how unfriendly people running businesses are. Only good thing out of jt was the salad bar. Just a bummer I was really looking forward to eating there. Not so sure I'll be going back for a while.

Our first time visit here and we will be back many more times. Tried it because they had live jazz. Neither the food or the jazz let us down! Both where very good. The server was a joy and was the owner. He asked us to move tables so he could seat a larger party. We didn’t mind and he offered to come our drinks and than later gave us desert. Super awesome night over all. Loved it!!!!! Wife said the crab legs where possible the best she had ever had. The steak was very good!!!

Just wow second Sunday in row this has happened. Don't say you have bottomless mimosas til 2pm if you're not going to have any out after 1:30.. today was the worst it was only 1 and they had already cleaned up the mimosa area. I get you're trying to get a jump on cleaning but if you're gonna do that then I shouldn't be charged the full price for the brunch. And yes they add champagne to the juice but at 145 there was none left and when I asked if more will be made the waitress said no. Really that's 15 mins. Think today is the last time I come back here. Sad cause I loved this place and the staff is super nice.

There are a few reasons this place gets a 5/5. First, they have a humongous menu and everything on it is better than average. On top of their awesome menu, everyday there are different specials that are the best. Some examples are all you can eat fish fry, all you can eat crab, prime rib, etc. They have slots if you are the gambling type and to top it all off they have an endless salad and soup bar that is open everyday. Besides the food the place in general is super nice. there is a dining area that is more white cloth table seating and then a huuuuge bar area with booths and a wraparound bar if you are looking for something more casual. I live local so I am picky, but my family and I end up here all the time. Try it out!
