Food was terrible. Six of us all got something different, and every meal was horrible. Spent over $200. What a waste.

A colleague from work recommended this place, so I went with my family.
The atmosphere felt upscale, but it didn’t seem very hygienic.
There was a noticeable smell in the restroom.
The service wasn’t bad.
The dumplings were clearly frozen, store-bought products.
The sushi had a slightly fishy odor, and the rolls were too heavy.
The hibachi shrimp didn’t really feel like hibachi, more like Chinese stir-fried or steamed shrimp. There was no real teppanyaki flavor.
Overall, the prices felt overpriced for what we got.

We went there for lunch, the price to quality was excellent! Would definitely go back for lunch. Can't speak for dinner.

We took a drive East to reach Kuro Bistre and they didn't disappoint.
My wife had the Woodland, artful roll of sauteed scallops, avocado, crab meat with four colors of row. A large roll she brought leftovers home.
I chose the Chirashi fish was freshly prepared. Mid-meal I even commented on how expertly prepared my rice was. Both dishes were a sight, all great food should appeal to the eye and the stomach.
I give Kuro 5 stars, definitely worth the drive.

In my last visit, I was picking up an order. I was kept waiting because I was told it was not ready. After a while, the guy at the host desk asks me for the name again, and tells me the order was just given to someone else. I ask why would he have me waiting here knowing I was waiting for it, and give it to someone else. He responds, “that’s what I’m trying to understand”.
I can tell you why, instead of focusing on the job he has, he was spending his time networking with another guest waiting for his order. In the time I was waiting, I witnessed the employee discuss his goals and so forth and perspective on the respective field he is trying to excel in. Likewise, I witnessed the pretentious self aggrandizing man, waiting for his order, talk about what his business practices in and so forth. And what they could potentially connect on.
Let me help Kuro Bistro understand for your employee what happened. If he would pay attention to the job he is being payed to do, instead of disregarding customers to address his own interests, he might have a clue. Professionally speaking, I would not want to bring on to my company an individual who negotiates on his behalf, ON MY TIME. With my clients.
The food is delicious though, gyozas are just right.

We had never been there before. They explained the menu and showed us how to enjoy the dishes so we could be expert diners.
Favorite sushi in area
Loud and bustling but the food is worth it. Has the Kyuui roll and it was fresh and delicious.
Just incredible. Our favorite sushi restaurant!! Fish is beyond fresh. Always perfectly cooked/prepared. Been coming here for years. My favorite is the Boston roll (I like simple) and their smoked salmon nigiri. My husband is obsessed with the grilled octopus kitchen starter (Polpo) and everything Eal. Come here!!!!!! Pictures from tonight: Smoked salmon nigiri, Polpo (octopus kitchen starter), and Eel dinner (Una Don)
