The miso soup didn't have a taste. Too expensive for a mediocre taste. A table with 6 kids were so loud I couldn't even enjoy my food.
As usual Kuro never disappoints. Tried a few new dishes. The staff is so wonderfully warm and friendly and the sushi and fried rice is extraordinary. Big menu you to choose from you can't fo wrong!
Server was a bit odd, every time we ask for something, outside of exactly what we ordered she would just stare at us...lol. But then she would bring whatever we're asking, and it ended up being just fine!
Fantastic sushi - best on the north shore for sure!! Have been coming here for years and quality never changes! Freshness and portions amazing.
We had a celiac guest and a vegan guest in our group. Everyone was very happy with the tasty food choices
This is a great spot with an upscale feeling and fair prices. The sushi presentation is beautiful, with one of the rolls we ordered even containing gold leaf.

Best sushi. Better than your fancy Chicago spot. It’s the only restaurant we frequent regularly. They have something for everyone including non sushi lovers.
If I could give more stars for this restaurant, I would! Would be a gorgeous little date spot.

My first time here. Sushi was delicious. Top quality, and I’ve had it all. The owner, Nami, came by our table several times and made sure everything was perfect. She is obviously very enthusiastic and proud of her work. Will definitely be back!

After our daughter graduated from boot camp, she was craving sushi. So, after a brief Google search, we found Kuro bistro. This place did not disappoint. The service was impeccable, the food delicious and on point. Don’t miss an opportunity to eat here!

We’d be meaning to try this place for some time. It was as good as we expected. Food was fantastic, drinks were a good size, and the staff most attentive. The place is quite lovely, with the most upscale decor we’ve ever seen in a Japanese restaurant. Can’t wait go back and try more of the selections.

Food was terrible. Six of us all got something different, and every meal was horrible. Spent over $200. What a waste.

A colleague from work recommended this place, so I went with my family.
The atmosphere felt upscale, but it didn’t seem very hygienic.
There was a noticeable smell in the restroom.
The service wasn’t bad.
The dumplings were clearly frozen, store-bought products.
The sushi had a slightly fishy odor, and the rolls were too heavy.
The hibachi shrimp didn’t really feel like hibachi, more like Chinese stir-fried or steamed shrimp. There was no real teppanyaki flavor.
Overall, the prices felt overpriced for what we got.
