Cecilia handled every detail with warmth and professionalism—helping me find a photographer, musician, flowers, and balloons that made the evening shine. Guests enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres followed by a beautifully paced five-course dinner, complete with honey-inspired cocktails (using our own honey!) and a honey mustard salad dressing the chef created just for us. The food, wine pairings, and service were all outstanding—friendly, polished, and perfectly timed. The room’s unpretentious elegance and local artwork created the ideal setting for a night full of laughter, connection, and joy. Mission accomplished!””

“This restaurant has been a longtime favorite for our friends and family, especially when we’re craving sushi! 🍣❤ The interior has been expanded several times, so there’s plenty of comfortable seating, although it was completely packed when we visited on a Saturday night. Everything we ordered was consistently delicious, from the spicy kinoko, buta kimchi, ika butter, and karaage to the must-try carpaccio. 😋 The sushi and sashimi are always incredibly fresh! What really makes this place special is the loyal staff-many sushi bar and kitchen employees have been here since the early days, which gives the food a truly authentic and consistent taste. Annie at the front is always so warm and welcoming, making every visit feel like dinner at a relative’s home. 🥰🍱✨”

What an incredible experience at Follia! From the moment we walked in, everything was absolutely wonderful. The restaurant is beautiful and elegant, with such a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was outstanding, every single thing we had was delicious and beautifully prepared.

The service was exceptional, and the entire staff made us feel so welcome. Bruno, the owner, went above and beyond to make our evening special. His warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail truly set Follia apart. He even surprised me with a beautiful gift, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture.

Follia is truly a gem. Amazing food, gorgeous atmosphere, wonderful people, and an experience we won’t forget. We absolutely loved it and can’t wait to come back!”

“Very good fresh Mexican food. The usual menu choices were offered along with a few specials. My drink was strong, friends margaritas were pricey for the size but ok. Their chips and salsa were nothing special. We enjoyed the fried calamari but the sauce was a bit odd and we would’ve enjoyed a cocktail sauce more. The empanadas were tasty but I wasn’t sure there was actually any beef inside. \n\nMy chicken fajitas were very good but could’ve used a bit more flavor. The chicken, peppers and onions were grilled just right. The beef tacos were a hit as well as the taco special. Beef fajitas were so so. \n\nService was excellent but the room was very loud and made it hard to converse. Eating outside might be nicer! I’d return.”

“All Hometown locations are solid for both food and drink. The Lake Forest location has plenty of seating both indoor and out. I’m a huge fan of the blueberry avocado smoothie, the ingredients are perfect for working with my dietary restrictions.”

“Love having a Starbucks in Lake Forest. So convenient. Also love some of the workers there. Daniel and Jay to name a couple. I just wish they would get the free refill program correct for gold card members. I get the snarky face from the manager and a couple others when asking for my free refill. They keep telling me I need to buy a regular coffee to get a refill when in fact Starbucks web site says get a free refill regardless of the original beverage.”

“It was your typical restaurant/bar in a hotel. Not a lot of customers were there at 5:45. The burgers were very good as well as the fish and chips. But my friend had to send back her chicken sandwich- she said it had no taste and chewed like rubber.”

“I really enjoyed the bagels and cream cheese selections and taste. I wish there was somewhere to sit when we were there but we couldn't wait to have one so we started eating our fav's right in our vehicle.
It's definitely worth the trip to try some tasty bagels and any other selections you might favor. We'll be back for sure!”

“Nice, modern renovation of the venerable English Room brings this into the 21st century in a lovely way. Good energy without being too loud and great service are the high points. Onion soup was a standout, but brasserie classics were missing, in my opinion. I'd go again but the food felt uneven.”

“I have nothing but good things to say about this Starbucks location. I ordered a grande hot vanilla coffee, drank about half of it, and then accidentally spilled the rest on the floor.

I immediately reached out to the barista, and a lovely lady named Cathy helped clean it up right away. She also offered me a new cup of coffee at no charge.

What really stood out was how kind and understanding she was. She made me feel completely at ease and reminded me that accidents happen. She truly made my day!”
