“We came to Sophia Steak for our anniversary and had a great server- Carol. She took care to help me with my dietary needs and made the meal so special. They gave us a little champagne toast and special anniversary menus. It was all the little touches that make it perfect. And then there’s the steak! Next level taste, quality and sides. Cecilia handled every detail with warmth and professionalism—helping me find a photographer, musician, flowers, and balloons that made the evening shine. Guests enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres followed by a beautifully paced five-course dinner, complete with honey-inspired cocktails (using our own honey!) and a honey mustard salad dressing the chef created just for us. The food, wine pairings, and service were all outstanding—friendly, polished, and perfectly timed. The room’s unpretentious elegance and local artwork created the ideal setting for a night full of laughter, connection, and joy. Mission accomplished!””

“This place was great. Easy parking (during a wee day), friendly and patient staff, excellent Ube muffin. (I ate so fast I didn’t take a picture). I got a Malibu smoothie. It was ok, seemed like there was a good bit of ice in it. I also got a Skinny Genes juice. It was WONDERFUL!!! Looks like the company is changing their name to Gimme Cafe as of July 6th 2026 on their website. Updated from previous review on 2026-07-06”

“Very good fresh Mexican food. The usual menu choices were offered along with a few specials. My drink was strong, friends margaritas were pricey for the size but ok. Their chips and salsa were nothing special. We enjoyed the fried calamari but the sauce was a bit odd and we would’ve enjoyed a cocktail sauce more. The empanadas were tasty but I wasn’t sure there was actually any beef inside. \n\nMy chicken fajitas were very good but could’ve used a bit more flavor. The chicken, peppers and onions were grilled just right. The beef tacos were a hit as well as the taco special. Beef fajitas were so so. \n\nService was excellent but the room was very loud and made it hard to converse. Eating outside might be nicer! I’d return.”

“I really enjoyed the bagels and cream cheese selections and taste. I wish there was somewhere to sit when we were there but we couldn't wait to have one so we started eating our fav's right in our vehicle.
It's definitely worth the trip to try some tasty bagels and any other selections you might favor. We'll be back for sure!”

“I don’t live around here but I came in for a coffee and I sat and drink it for about 10 minutes and went back to the register to order a pastry. Ryan remembered my name and asked if he could get anything more for me using my first name. It was just a small gesture but felt so personal and wonderful. Great job Ryan! If I lived around here I would come back to this Starbucks all the time!”

“Love having a Starbucks in Lake Forest. So convenient. Also love some of the workers there. Daniel and Jay to name a couple. I just wish they would get the free refill program correct for gold card members. I get the snarky face from the manager and a couple others when asking for my free refill. They keep telling me I need to buy a regular coffee to get a refill when in fact Starbucks web site says get a free refill regardless of the original beverage.”

“Dunkin' always delivers a quick and convenient coffee run. Iced coffee is consistently good, and donuts are fresh. Drive-thru lines can get long, but service is usually speedy. Prices are reasonable. A reliable spot for a morning pick-me-up. ?☕️”
