Love having a Starbucks in Lake Forest. So convenient.
Also love some of the workers there. Daniel and Jay to name a couple.
I just wish they would get the free refill program correct for gold card members. I get the snarky face from the manager and a couple others when asking for my free refill. They keep telling me I need to buy a regular coffee to get a refill when in fact Starbucks web site says get a free refill regardless of the original beverage.

This Starbucks Coffee Company is centrally located in downtown Lake Forest, very near to the Metra Station. It is one of the best Starbucks in the Chicago suburbs. The large interior space still manages to feel cozy and welcoming, with ample seating both in the front and back of the store. There is also a beautiful patio/outdoor seating area for warm weather. Great service includes Reserve coffee products. It is a good place to study, do homework, or network. A chess club meets on Saturdays from 1 to 4. However, some reviews note issues. The music can be loud, making conversation hard. Some customers have experienced super slow prep of goods and brutal service, including a 12-minute wait for a sandwich with no effort to check on the order. This delay was seen as a management issue.
