You have to check out Le Colonial, Lake Forest! It’s a hidden gem that totally blows your mind. Food was incredible (we had tuna tartar, pork roll, soup, and salad)! Everything was perfectly balanced and delicious.
What I liked the most was the ambiance… I loved all the settings and the decor inside. You would look around and each corner would surprise you with a different feeling! I highly recommend Le Colonial for a high quality meal and an unforgettable experience....

Had the worst Vietnamese iced coffee ever!
Not strong and overwhelming sweet. I would recommend that you have the condensed milk on the side and let the customer add to the coffee. We could not even drink our coffee how freaking sweet it was.

I’m happy to report back that just about every time I’ve been back to Le Colonial, things have been different. I’ll chalk the first encounter up to “growing pains” as I applaud the team working here! Maître d’s are polite and congenial, the food is light and delicious, and the wait staff is great.

I now look forward to meetings/lunches/cocktails here with excitement and anticipation as opposed to dread and ick.
