The food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. The chef was very accommodating of the substitution requests. Portions were a little smaller than expected, but the quality was excellent.

Did not expect this to be in a hotel... the atmosphere was nice, food was okay. Wings were okay, not the best, not the worst. Empanadas were very good, as well as the burger, Caesar salad was not the best.

Oaken Bistro was our stop before a play at Citadel Theater. But what we thought would be a quick bite to eat with a cocktail turned out to be a really fantastic experience! Our server Dane was attentive and got our orders accurate as well as making some fabulous suggestions for food choices ... the honey/goat cheese app was out of this world and a generous portion as well. We happen to love a good old fashioned cheeseburger and this place did not disappoint with a nice slight char taste to it. Our cocktails, a Negroni and their special Oaken Old Fashioned were both yummy and well crafted. The manager was seen many times strolling thru the restaurant to be sure everything was top notch and the busser kept our water refilled. The ambience was a warm and inviting vibe despite having a modern appeal, which can be a tricky combination. We plan to return very soon!!

Definitely overrated. Guess could be okay for mediocre, gullible suburbanites who may not get out much or know any better.

We only visited the bar but had a lovely experience with the bartender Draggon. Such a great guy and he makes the best drinks! Other staff too were very friendly and welcoming. We look forward to return visits!

The raspberry tea had a very unique presentation and tasted wonderful. The omelette was good and the overall ambience was chic and relatively modern. The service was fine, but could have been a bit better, although perhaps it was just an off day.

We went to oaken a couple weeks ago for late brunch. The place looks absolutely beautiful, we really admired the design of the space. The food was really good, we got chilaquiles (was sooooo good!) and smoked turkey Rueben sandwich (was a really good Rueben). Overall the food and atmosphere was great and is defiantly worth the visit. The service, however, has some room for improvement. While our server was very friendly and nice, the service in general was a little on a slower end. The restaurant had may be 3 tables at the time when we were there, so it wasn’t busy by any stretch of imagination. So there was no real reason for dragging out on taking our order or dropping the bill down. Overall, not the end of the world, but something to keep in mind. I could see how service could spiral out of control had there been more tables at the restaurant. We did enjoy our experience overall and will most definitely be back in a few months.

Susie our waitress was wonderful-so attentive and has a great personality. The food did take over an hour to be brought out to us from when we ordered to when it came out which felt very long. The prices are fairly high for having to wait and the salmon which almost all 6 of us ordered was overcooked. I suppose it was because we had to wait so long and they were down some staff in the kitchen. Just a guess.

We were surprised to find Oaken Bistro Bar in a Hyatt Place, but decided to give it a try. It was a lovely setting and our server could not have been nicer. The kitchen was a bit slow, but our server kept us informed and we had lots to talk about, so it was no big deal. The Penne with Mushrooms, sausage and cheese was fantastic, the portion size perfect and the presentation in a skillet made for a fine meal.
