Sophia’s was an excellent choice to celebrate our son’s graduation from Navy boot camp. From the champagne toast to the wonderful dessert, Sophia’s made us feel so welcome! We enjoyed the impeccable food and attentive, personal service more than they can even imagine!

Dinner at the bar on a Saturday night. Attentive, fast service. Good food. Good drinks.
Menu feels very safe. $31 for a salmon Caesar a little rich, even for LF.

This past July marked the very first time trying the famed limited north shore steakhouse chain and was so delighted with the experience. If you love steak and wine, you're in for a real treat here.
When it comes to fine dining out in the burbs, it doesn't get any better than Sophia. From the aesthetic of the venue, the excellent customer service to the extreme high quality and taste of the food; Sophia is the ultimate steakhouse experience.
The service is truly wonderful and the food is remarkable at competitive prices. It was my wife & I's 10-year anniversary and after dining in here, we strongly agreed we could come back here.
Free valet parking, plenty of outdoor seating for the warmer months and the passing trains nearby didn't bother us. I wish for continued success & prosperity for the owner(s) of this lovely restaurant.

My husband and I celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary here and the food and service was too notch! They wished a happy Anniversary and even gave us complimentary champagne. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and made sure to check on us often. My husband got the NY strip and I got the filet. They were cooked perfectly and paired great with their housemate steak sauce. We had the key lime for dessert and that was delicious as well! I would highly recommend. Thanks!

Made a reservation for my husband’s birthday. We arrived at the appropriate time and were told it would be :20
Due to a large party. At the :25 mark I was told it would be another :20. The hostess who was “management”
Was not very apologetic or did she offer us anything while we waited. They have the right to cancel our reservation if we arrive more than :15 late but they can keep you waiting with a reservation for an endless amount of time. Thankfully there are many amazing choices. We went to Pixca in Highland Park and had an amazing meal with outstanding service. Sophia Steak not very impressive
First of many phenomenal dinners.
I'll start by saying I've gotten really particular about dining out. To be impressed, the food has to be so good I wake up the next day still thinking about it, the service has to seamless, and I want to ambience to be just so.
Sophia succeeds on all 3 counts.
Food:
Sophia manages to have steak house classics with enough unexpected options so no one is bored. We started with beef carpaccio and tuna tartar before moving onto mushroom soup and a wedge salad. The tuna melted in my mouth and the lardons on the wedge salad were sublime.
For our mains I couldn't resist the scallops with risotto, the Tuesday special. Whoa. What a treat.
Service:
Our server, Fernando, was attentive and knowledgeable and paced our meal perfectly. The rest of the staff moves fluidly and despite the fact that the restaurant completely filled while we were there, we were taken care of the whole time-- right through coffee and desserts, because who says no to chocolate cake and key lime custard?!
**Worth noting- my husband went to culinary school in Ireland and worked in France and Switzerland. He will not stop talking about the chocolate cake, so hats off to the pastry chef!
Ambience:
Loved the attention to detail in terms of noise control, such as clever acoustic panels and drapes(I sound like a real curmudgeon but I do like to hear my friends/family) and the layout of booths & tables.
The artwork on the walls is varied and feels like it's someone's personal collection which adds to the convivial (aka not stuffy) vibe.
I didn't drink (*gasp*) because I was driving. I'm taking Uber next time so I can try some of the wines- the list was great and it was hard to not indulge.
Seriously a delightful evening and I'm already thinking about what I'll try next time.

Celebrating my father in laws birthday at his first official steakhouse. This restaurant did not fail to deliver.
Service: super attentive and professional. They gave us champagne on the house for our celebration. Always attending to water, cleaning table, giving fresh plates/silverware
Food: nothing was too salty, fresh ingredients- my in laws were extremely happy at the quality of food
What I ordered:
Spanish octopus: very soft- sauce goes really well
Summer tomato salad - seasonal salad- super refreshing
Caesar salad
Roasted chicken- very moist and good
Spicy crab campanelle - wasn’t as impressed. Pasta cooked well
Prime delmonica Ribeye
Tomahawk ribeye - my fav. I only wish they would have a salt blend for their steaks
Truffle fries- perfectly cooked
Roasted corn - loved the shiitake in this side
Peach cobbler - not as good as the chocolate cake
Chocolate cake - moist and delicious
