Wow! I had no idea such great food was around the corner. As a true foodie who has dined at many Michelin Star restaurants in my lifetime, I can honestly say, my meal at The Gallery was comparable. Just superb! Loved the quiet spot which felt like a secret getaway. The service was impressive and the meal was over the top fabulous!!! Kudos to the chef. I will be back for sure!

A rare North Shore gem combining outstanding cuisine with art from local artists. As it's name implies, the Gallery is an art gallery, but with a kitchen and an extremely talented chef. The menu and art are both updated every 3 months. We have been to the Gallery for the past 5 menus and every visit has been excellent. The menu is very limited but offers enough options for most people (so far, there has always been a salmon, another seafood entree, a beef entree, and a poultry entree). While limited in choice, the execution of every dish is at the very top of the fine dining scene and could compete with most of the top rated restaurants in Chicago - in our experience the Gallery should be a Bib Gourmand contender. While the entree is the star here, two non-entree items deserve special mention. First, the deviled eggs with balsamic and bacon are so good we have felt many times we could just eat a few orders of deviled eggs and be happy, and are in the "must have" category (thankfully, these are on every menu so far). Second, the pastry deserts are executed at a level that I would not expect except at a Michelin starred restaurant. The deserts have been mostly different each visit, but they have always blown us away. Don't skip desert! Note that the Gallery has a very limited wine and spirits menu, but they encourage you to bring your own wines with a very minimal corkage fee.

Really like the gallery! It’s pretty pricey, so just keep that in mind. Food was delicious.

Inconsistencies in the making of the limited cocktails on the menu. No bar. Walls festooned with art for sale. Somewhat like dining in an art gallery. If the art is to your liking, that's good. Otherwise, meh.Wait staff is excellent. The vegetarian dish (there's only been one on the when we've gone) are uninspired and by and large absent of vegetables. The regular menu items on the other hand are very good. We'll go back, but the Gallery is not in our top 5 choices for dining I'm Lake Forest.

We just hosted a large birthday party at The Gallery this past weekend. They could seat the large group in a private area at one table, which was very important to us. They thoughtfully provided a gift table and coat rack as well. The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. The fabulous night ended with a beautiful cake and gorgeous cookies custom-designed and made by their amazingly talented pastry chef, Hailey. The birthday cake and parting cookies were stunning as well as scrumptious. Cecilia and her team helped to make the entire evening flawless. Thank you!

Loved The Gallery! We went for happy hour and got every food item on the menu and each thing was delicious. So much so that I forgot to take pictures and devoured everything. We ended with their warm brownie and ice cream which ended up being HUGE and so good. Loved the art featured tonight as well and walking around to look at the pieces on display. Definitely will return for their dinner sometime!

They have the best deviled eggs we've had. This was our first time there. Our server, Shelby, told us all about the restaurant and answered our questions.

Went to the Gallery for happy hour. This is a great environment. You are surrounded by art which is all for sale. The Garden seating is super cute and friendly. The happy hour drinks were good. The service was great. The only draw back was the limited menu for the happy hour appetizers. I'd like to see more options.

The main dinning room doesn't have ventilation. The smoke from cooking meet comes into that room. The patio is beautiful, that's the place to
