Delicious food. Clean restaurant. The server was excellent. Highly recommend eating here. There’s a train track around the ceiling that has trains circling. I love the old photos framed throughout the restaurant of the town.
The chicken pot pie was absolutely savory and satisfying. Beneath the perfectly light and fluffy pastry top was a hearty filling of shredded white meat chicken, peas, and carrots, all enveloped in a rich, flavorful gravy. The generous portion makes it an ideal dish to share. The staff and partons was incredibly warm and welcoming, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I can’t wait to come back!
Fantastic waitress engaged our grandsons and made sure their meals were perfect! Food was great! We had taken our grandsons on the train from Lake Forest to Evanston to Dave's Rock Shop and back to LF for lunch! We will have to come back when the trains at the ceiling are working to fulfill our promise to them! Looking forward to our return!
