BEST SMASH BURGER IN LAKE BLUFF/LAKE FOREST AREA!!! I'm picky as hell about my burgers, and I've been dying to find a good smash burger. The Peanut Gallery is my go-to. Their burgers are super flavorful and they don't overcomplicate their menu—they have a handful of items they do really well. AND THE FRIES ARE SO GOOD (they're a big portion so super shareable). Oh, and I cannot pass up on the ice cream and milk shakes. A must. If you're worried about street parking, park in the parking garage around the corner and walk.

I found out about the peanut gallery on tiktok of all places. Going from a video to in person DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Im a huge smash burger lover. So much so that i usually treat myself by driving to schoops in Michigan city Indiana for what i thought was the best smash burger around............... Let me tell you! These guys know how to smash a burger! My burger was sloppy,juicy and finger licking good. I also had a custom shake ( fat elvis/ strawberry mix) and buffalo frys that were delicious. The burgers are delicious! I think one of the best burgers I have ever had. I would 100 % go again. I had the yes to happiness milkshake and it was soo good. The staff was friendly and the food came fast. There is a small downstairs area with extra seating and a few games to play.

The burgers are good and affordable. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. It has an arcade in the basement, which is where I ate. I also found one of these toys in the claw machine. Someone must have forgot it and left it there for me to find.

Got a regular double bacon cheeseburger and it was very very salty I mean this is probably preference but personally not my favorite but it wasn’t bad. The chili cheese fries 🍟 were very good though

The customer service was perfect! Shelby was an amazing person who had great ideas for good milkshakes. The only thing that I didn’t like, and it’s only because I’m not big on it, but the burgers were a little greasy… 🥹🥹 BUT THEY WERE SOOOOO GOOD…!!

Food is excellent! Especially the various fried chicken sandwiches. But it’s dark, very warm (felt like 75+ degrees), and a little dirty (lots of flies). Better spot for takeout than dining in.
