Could this place ever be open? The 3 random times we tried to visit, all on days it is supposed to be open, the restaurant was closed. But given they are unreliably open, we stumbled upon the wonderful Taquitos on Randall just up the road.

Steak tacos were very fatty. Rice and beans had no flavor at all, it was very odd. The chips were drenched in grease, could not even eat them. The brown bag that the chips came in looked like it was dipped in a pot of oil.

I really enjoy coming here, mostly on Tuesdays for the dollar tacos but their special on burritos is just as worthwhile. They have a full menu welcoming staff and parking available right outside

We are new to the area and decided to check this place out based on the great reviews we read on here. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a not so friendly waitress, we had a toddler with us and weren’t even offered a high chair, we had to go look for one ourselves at the back of the restaurant, she simply looked bothered that were there. She asked what we wanted to drink and when we said horchata, she said they didn’t have any, we then asked for a certain flavored of Jarritos, which they also didn’t have, we ordered a different one, no big deal but a but disappointing considering our son loves horchata and it’s not something out of the ordinary to ask for at s Mexican restaurant. They have a scan code on the table to view the menu on your phone which doesn’t work, again, she looked bothered when we asked for a physical menu. She came back to take our order, we wanted a taco dinner and asked for tacos de tripa, she states they don’t have any tripa meat. My husband asks for a queso fundido, she brings it and we ask for tortillas de harina; she then proceeds to tell us they don’t have those either. The queso fundido looked like something a 10 year old could make at home.We ordered some nachos with meat and were given stale nacho chips drowned in beans with very little meat at all. She asked us once if we needed anything and once again, she looked bothered so we didn’t even bother asking for anything else at all. Overall, such a disappointing experience. We aren’t difficult customers, we understand we are all human and we all have off days but this place was just annoying to go and not even worth putting up with it since the food wasn’t even good.

This place I assumed was a good place. But no there is a real Karen here. I mean a real Karen not the customer. I drove 30 min to get a 45 Dollar order, Karen was rude as hell. I was at first accommodating to her ignorance of what one could buy off the menu. She wanted to advise me they don't do what I was asking which was to buy a pound of beef for tacos After speaking with someone in back also me buying the same meat a week earlier. She learned she was wrong and I could but it. Then she became rude now sides pissed. I ask several times for her to listen to my request and be kinder. She had a few of her personal friends at the counter serving them chips and dip. I left a 45 dollar order because she was just unbearable showing out for her friends. I know reviews are everything as I am a DM and requi

Cachas physically replaced Tacos El Norte but sadly they haven't been able to replace solid traditional Mexican food for me. I really wanted to like this restaurant but it just hasn't panned out. My go to order is the steak taco dinner and after several tries ordering here I've given up. Each time the tacos have been heavy on gristle, light on actual meat. It's unfortunate they haven't been able to step up their game.

My second time to this hidden gem and I'm even deeper in love. The family effort from Grandma to the son to the cousins are invested in family recipes to share with us lucky gringos. I've never had better mole sauce which comes from Grandmas recipe. The barbacoa tacos are put heaven- the meat melts in your mouth. A close second is the pastor taco. Only wish they had better chips. The accompanying salsa Fresca is perfect however. I'm an a constant search for homemade food in the suburbs- this is the real deal! Highest rating I can give!
