“A hidden Gem in lake in the hills!!!! I’m lucky enough to live a few blocks away! Me and my family are here for dine in or carry out at least once or twice a week! This is a family owned business that I support 100% and they treat me like family! My personal favorites are the chicken enchiladas and steak burritos! They also make amazing tamales when it’s that time of year! I usually buy a couple dozen around Christmas. I highly suggest giving them a try, if you haven’t already!”

“Absolutely the best and freshest bagels between here and Brooklyn. Though originally from the Midwest, I spent 20 years on the East Coast and my wife has family who are from Brooklyn. Thank you so much Elle for bringing a taste of home to the Crystal Lake area.”

“Ordered some beef empanadas and arroz con gandules. The beef was very flavorful and packed in. The empanada was perfectly crispy and a great size. Loved the rice and happy the olives were in there. It’s heartbreaking to get rice without them. My 2 year old loved the food too. Will be ordering again 💖”

“The employees here are always very nice, the food is great, and the inside is very clean. There's plenty of seating. Everytime we go the place usually has families with kids or elderly folks eating.
Once I forgot to order sauce for the cheese curds and the guy (I didn't get his name) gave me some for free!

This is our go-to spot after taking our son to his check-ups. Nothing makes a vaccine feel better than getting custard and cheese curds afterwards. I hope we continue this tradition.”

“During the 7 Friday’s of Lent we went to 5 different fish fry’s, and without a doubt Moretti’s was the best. Not only was the price the best, the amount of fish was the most without AYCE. Great French Fries, homemade coleslaw and plenty of tartar sauce. Another plus was Happy Hour Coors Light drafts for $3. I’d like to thank our server ( Will M. )for doing a great job.”

“I was there today for lunch and asked if they could leave the fried rice off because I could not eat rice. I realized later that she must have misunderstood me as she got very offended and said "if you don't like it - go someplace else." I exchanged a few words with her as I thought her comment to go someplace else just because I asked for no fried rice on my Plate (I cannot eat rice anymore) was very rude. We fininished our lunch which was delicious and went on our way. I have frequented this restaurant several times and have never made a special request so YUM YUM lady was always nice. If she reads this I would like to APOLOGIZE to her as I think her fried rice is delicious. I just am unable to eat rice at this point. A misunderstanding that could have been avoided.”

“I don't understand why the rating is not high for this place. I love their grass-fed beef burgers with the cheese fries. Staff are keeping the restaurant very clean which I care about a lot when dining in. I would come back for sure.”
