“We stopped at the location. I had to eat quickly because my blood sugar was under 50 when we ordered and got to the window. I had asked the employee Troy if I could possibly get a small little cup of M&Ms because my blood sugar was very low he ran to get them came back and I thanked him and he said no I just wanna make sure you’re gonna be OK and I appreciated that because most people don’t care the food was amazing and I’m my sugar came back up, but I just wanted to recognize a shout out to Troy. He was an amazing worker.“

“I had a great experience at Firehouse Subs! I ordered the New York Steamer sub with chips and a soda, and everything was fantastic. The sandwich was hot, packed with flavor, and loaded with perfectly melted cheese and plenty of meat. The bread was fresh and soft, which made the whole sub come together perfectly.

The chips were crisp and a great side, and the soda was nice and cold. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and the service was quick. You can really tell they care about quality ingredients and making a great sandwich.

If you’re looking for a delicious, filling sub with great service, Firehouse Subs is definitely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be coming back again!“

“We typically use the drive thru. We like your food, always fresh and tasty. Tonight I had the chicken avocado and strawberry salad. The salad was fresh, walnuts were sweet and crispy, dressing was very creamy. The only criticism I have is my chicken avocado and strawberry salad had no avocados. I do understand sometimes you can run out of ingredients or supply chain issues can interfere with menus. I would just ask to have this made known to us upon ordering or upon discovery, all in the interest of good customer service that you usually do deliver.“

“ordered 2 chicago style hot dogs, Italian beef combo w/ mozzarella cheese and Giardiniera, jalapeño poppers and onion rings. $33.00 ☹️ the combo had barely any beef or Giardiniera on it. the onion rings were a big clump of a soggy greasy mess. the poppers were soggy too. They were not edible, threw them away. I don't know what happened, they used to be really good.“

“Typical fried chicken, fish, shrimp, and fries place. Had the bone in wings and shrimp combo meal. This place seems to cater to takeout but has a few places to sit including outside. Wings were good size, the shrimp medium size. The parmesan sauce was salty as was the lemon pepper rub on the shrimp. The chicken without the sauce was not salty and tasted good. The fries were not salty so I think it was the sauces. The meal was served hot and service was excellent. Everything seems to be cooked as needed so keep in mind that it might take 15 minutes to get your meal.“

“Best chicken in Crystal Lake! Raising Cane's slaps the hardest. Their chicken tenders are goated and perfectly seasoned (and honestly, you don't even need the sauce). The fries are cooked to perfection and have an amazing crunch👌 and that Texas toast slaps! Skip the KFC, skip the Popeyes, skip Dave's Hot Chicken because Cane's is where it's at! The only place that even comes close to competing with Cane's in terms of chicken quality is the legendary Taco Bell. But Cane's somehow is even better! 🤯“

Looks inviting to go in. Menu was simple and easy to understand. Girl behind the counter was awesome, gave us recommendations, talked about the fries, the beef, the burgers, the deals. I went with Italian Beef, kid did a double cheeseburger, got fries and floats. Food came out fast, great quality, well packaged. Fries are delicious, dont pass them up. A large is Super Large, easy to share. Fries won, we couldn't finish them off. Italian beef was good. Whole muscle beef, sliced. Seasoning was spot on. Burger was good. He had done a double for the burger, it won, he couldn't finish it. Floats were good. I had red cream, kid had Rootbeer. Overall wonderful place, would highly recommend. Only downfall is its over a hour from home, otherwise their special deals looked really good for Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday.“

The delivery person outside tried to give me at least 3 different orders that weren’t ours, and when we got home the chicken nuggets were missing the sauce, and the chili was missing the toppings and sour cream. “As far as individual Taco Bells go, this one is a winner. Best location in Elgin, and it’s not even close. They’re the most consistent with food quality compared to the other Elgin locations that can’t even give you edible potatoes. They’re staff here also seems the most locked-in and friendly.“
