“The food is awesome, I mean it better be when your famous for chicken strips. Hands down, best in the land. But I'm here because my son wanted to go to Cain's for his 7th birthday. He was looking forward to it all day! We had a great experience, and at the end I purchased him one of those stuffed Caine's dogs. The manager, such a sweet guy, gave the dog to him, realized it was his birthday and absolutely made his day! We'll never forget his kindness and enthusiasm. Whoever you have managing Saturday nights, super nice, bubbly, cool hair, tall, grey shirt i believe, give him a raise. He's awesome.“

“You can always count on Tommy's Red Hots for some quality fast food . Salad burgers, Italian beefs, the best italian sausage from any restaurant, decent gyros and more. Their famous $3 dog special (2 dogs any way, fries and a drink) is gone, replaced with an equivalent at 3X the price. But, it's every bit as tasty as it has been for decades.

I can't begin to count the number of times I've had a good meal at Tommy's, and there's no doubt I'll be a customer many times in the future.“

“I came here on Friday, November 28, 2025 while I was in that part of Crystal Lake and it was really positive for my first time there. It was a slow lunch time on Black Friday and the employees were really positive and nice. You could tell how happy they were when the regulars arrived periodically.
