He put it under a warmer to heat it up for-a-long-time, he could have made twice again in that time, and since it was a rice bowl, the food was much deeper down than the edges of the dish. So only the dish edge got slightly warmer. Meanwhile, my food was still cold. After the waitress worked hard and did a lot of relaying back-and-forth, they offered me something else, and finally took my meal off the bill. She offered to have something else made for me, but I was from very far out of town and it was getting late, and I had already eaten an appetizer. So I ate a few bites of my main dish and lost my appetite. I was done. She did a great job given the position she was put in by the cook. I feel like someone besides her should have come out and talked to me. 👎

Some of the best tacos in the area. Big fan of the Land and Sea dish (steak and shrimp with lime rice).
This place had a large Tequila selection, and a variety of mixed drinks. Small inside with booth or bar seating, table seating was outside. Tacos tasted great, I had Steak, Shrimp, and Pastor. Thet don't offer the common dinner plate with rice and beans. Just the tacos. Also offer different bowl options. For a light dinner, I would recommend this place.

Absolutely delicious food! Creative combinations of dishes + it just feels like "home". I absolutely adore how they do not fry their foods in seed oils. I was finally able to go out to dinner for my birthday without having terrible time after eating. Healthy, clean, flavorful!

El Cochino is a top-tier date spot for Mexican food! Amazing food, service, and atmosphere.
Been wanting to try this place for awhile now. Was happy to know they use lard instead of seed oils for their fryers and use olive oil for salsa. Food was pretty good quality. The portion sizes were a bit smaller than I would have liked. The grande burrito I got wasn’t too grande unfortunately so I had to get 2 tacos afterwards. Also there was barely any carne asada on my burrito. Couldn’t have been more than 3oz of steak . Chicken and Korean bbq tacos were good as well.

Small but quick service and omg everything we tried was delicious! We had carne asada, Korean BBQ, shrimp, tempura avocado and hongos tacos. Very different but so good!
By far and away the best Mexican restaurant outside of Chicago. Pedro’s wings, Guacamole and Burrito were exceptional. Highly recommend.

Tacos are a weekly staple for me, and I’ve recently begun to order from here because of the quality of their ingredients compared to other local taco joints. Top choice meat and vegetables, great salsa, and they make carry out incredibly easy.
