I will NOT order from here again! I have been a take-out customer of Chef Bo’s Green Garden for 17 years. It’s always been on the pricier side and the staff is never very friendly, but the food was good and convenient. As of late, it’s been getting more expensive and less delicious, but my latest order is what tipped the scales. The prices got super jacked up again, yet the amount of food has shrunken- a LOT. I guess you don’t get white rice with entrees any more bc we didn’t. Thankfully I had ordered fried rice, had I not, it would be meat in a bowl. So I paid $52 for fried rice, cashew beef and pot stickers. If you break that down, that’s one entree, one side, and one appetizer (and no white rice). The entree barely reached the edge of the container.. so again, less food. We normally have leftovers, especially of fried rice, but not this time bc the container was way smaller. Everything was pretty bland, and I got an upset stomach later in the night. I’m done - they’ve lost my business.

Food was delicious as usual.we got broccoli beef and pad Thai chicken.in our opinion the best in the area. One small issue was, though we picked it up on time, it was cold when we got it home about a10 minute drive.

Changed ownership - no longer chef Bo. They kept the prices though. Food tastes way worse now. Even Hot-n-Sour soup is bad.

The lady and the man answering phone taking orders are so rude. I get they are busy but i can't even ask questions about the food she just interrupts abruptly like DO YOU WANT OR NO?! just give me a second to decide or I'll gladly wait on hold ,...........I try to be friendly but it gets to a point where I dont even want to call anymore. I've been forced to go to HONG KONG CHOP SUEY in MUNDELEIN for Chinese food lately. They treat you like family, like a friend when they answer the phone or see you walk in for your food. The cooks in the back even greet you or tell you To have a good day if they get a chance. I swear it's like the food tastes so much better there because they really care and put that good energy into making their food. I've never had to replace my food or gotten a wrong order, I've never had missing items, and they certainly have never been rude to me once. They offer a welcome atmosphere that makes you want to go back, My recommendation do not eat from Green Garden ??????????

Ordered here looking for something that was open, and so glad we did. They have the BEST sesame balls I have ever had. We are so excited to order from here again. If you like sesame definitely order those!! We wish we ordered two orders of them instead of only one.
