They have such delicious breakfast, but everytime we go the service is mediocre at best. And slow. The first time it happened I didn’t think too much about it - everyone is allowed to have an off day. No big deal. But it’s been like that every time we’ve went. The last time we went it was more than 10 minutes after we were seated before anyone even offered coffee. And then when they ring you up at the register they watch you like a hawk when that tip screen pops up on the display, which is a major turn off. We still go because the food is great but we go with low expectations for the service. Maybe one day we’ll be surprised. Fav breakfast is the spicy breakfast tostadas. They also have a delicious toasted marshmallow latte.

I never post like this. Unfortunately the staff wasn't very friendly, no smiles at all. The cheese in the pepper jack omelet was rubbery and not melted. Because my food server didn't seem to be in a good mood, i didn't mention it.The coffee was decent. I will not be going back.

This restaurant was a Great breakfast for me .but lately my last 2 visits have been extremely not great . Over price, ok service, when the girl remember s to talk to me . VERY DISAPPOINTED !!

My sister and I tried this place for the first time because it was convenient to Trader Joe's. My scrambled eggs and toast were ok, but the turkey sausage was inedible. It had a weird taste and consistency. The hash browns had no salt or seasoning at all. The coffee was weak. My sister's pancakes were crumbly, but tasted ok.

We decided to go back to Walker Brothers the next time we meet.

I’ve been coming here for years. The food used to be consistent and large portions. I always get an omelet, but honestly, I guess it depends on either the chef or the day. Last time my 4-egg omelet looked like a fluffed up 2-egged.

And there’s one female server that seems to have a huge chip on her shoulder-larger girls, glasses, long dark hair. She could care less. It took forever for her to even recognize I’d been seated, and then it took 15 minutes to take my order. Very few other customers. My food was delivered with what I would call, “a gentle slam”. If you’re miserable, leave. You bring the place and its reputation down. I have no idea why the owner has let her stay this long.

Yet there’s another server that I LOVE! I don’t know her name but she calls her customers “sweetie” in a respectful, kind way. Been there a long time. I’ll take her any day. Fire the other one. I’ll turn around if she’s there before I spend my $30

Very disappointed in my experience today. I had the Friday breakfast special and was charged double the cost. When I asked to confirm the charges, the lady was extremely rude and only seemed to care about the tip. We will not be going back and will be disputing the charge.

I wanted to add to this review. Afterwards we ran into another customer outside of the restaurant that had a similar situation. She also mentioned that she overheard the two waitresses discussing our table and bill. We’ve been going to Eggshells for many years and will not be going back.

We like the food and the people but it’s always so dang warm in there. Be a little more generous with the air conditioning!
