“We visited Lago last night for the first time. I was honestly prepared to be “under-whelmed” due to all the hype and somewhat expensive menu, however, we were very pleasantly surprised! Our server, Randy, was new but did a great job. The GM and Manager both stopped by our table to check in on how things were going. We ordered the Peccorino Rolls which were AMAZING. I tried 2 of the special Old Fashioneds and they were both excellent!! For dinner, my husband had the NY Strip and I had Surf & Turf and we were both very happy with our meals. I had read that it was very noisy in there, but we sat on the patio and I didn’t find it to be noisier than any other restaurant on a Friday night. Overall, we were very happy and will definitely go back.“

“My husband and I are in town for one night and had to have some Giordano’s pizza! I have a gluten sensitivity so I was very happy to have the option of ordering gf crust, which was really good! Nothing beats normal dough, but their gf crust measures up well! We also wanted to take our leftover pizza with us and they were willing to put it in containers and wrap in plastic for us so we could take it home in a cooler. They were so nice to do this for us. Very friendly place and great service, as well as food!

My mother and I walked in around 9:30 on Wednesday 9.18, the guy who was working the front (I wish I could remember his name) first offered to give us an extra salad dressing when we were being indecisive, he asked about any dessert before we were about to pay, and again being indecisive, said he would just throw it in. We were both in town because my Grandfather, my mom’s Dad, was admitted to the hospice center that morning a few miles down the road. It was such a teeny thing, but the sincerity of gesture, as well as an incredibly friendly demeanor, was given without knowing anything we were going through. Human interaction has so much power. It turned out to be so much more then just dinner, to quote one of our dinner companions, Brian Romer, "We have enjoyed fine dining for many years but last night was a Kodak memory experience. Seriously, and I had to share this with Steve while we were there, pretty much perfect, one change I must admit, I would prefer my potatoes served not floating in the sauce, I like them crispy. and the SERVING SIZE! I was served an entire spatchcocked chicken plus potatoes. No, I did not clear my plate, those magicians who saw to our every need took our plates, swept any crumbs from the cloth, packaged our delicious remains then knew we would be enjoying at home tonight, then someone suggested, dare I say, DESSERT? How can I describe the desserts? The six of us shared three, each came accompanied by a scoop of a different ice cream or gelato. Butter cake, cannoli and tiramisu, each one better than the other. During dinner both the manager and Steve, the owner stopped by the table and we made sure to send our thanks and good impressions to the chef. OH, everyone at our table was equally as impressed with their choice of dinner as I. If. when you go be prepared, you are not just going to dinner, you are going to enjoy an event if you allow yourself to, we spent close to three hours savoring the experience and look forward to a repeat in the not too distant future.“

The sausage and beef combo, pasta, salad, and pizza package we put together was excellent. All the food was well prepared and our guests were complimenting everything the whole party.
