This Popeyes is always forgetting something. You can try calling but they never answer. They’re not busy ever which gives no excuse to forgetting what was paid for. It’s really unfortunate people can’t bag correctly anymore.

I wanted to try the fish sandwich. There was confusion in ordering, I asked for the fish sandwich and said not spicy. Then I asked what was added to it and was told mayo and pickle. I said I wanted no mayo, but tartar sause, I was told that tartar only comes on the Fish sandwich. That's what I wanted, the fish sandwich. When I tasted the sandwich, it was spicy! Plus, it had a bad texture, kinda dense and chewy, not light and flakey. I brought it back. Then I was told that the fish only came spicy. I didn't notice if the signage mentioning spicy only. I was not informed spicy only. Poor communication. The chicken sandwich was good.

On Saturday the supposed manager was the rudest woman. They took order said would be ready in 7 minutes after waiting where they told me to wait for over 15 minutes went in to see what was going on. It was obvious no one intended to give me order when ready. Food had been sitting and was ice cold requested store manager and name and was refused. Very unhappy with service.

Very good. The wings can be a bit messy as fast food. I wish there was a boneless option. But there is chicken tenders here, no bone.But only the boned wings have all the spice levels and flavors.The tenders are just normal or hot. I recommend the hot tenders. Yum.

Most aweful coleslaw I ever tasted, and chickens were not crispy at all. They appeared to be bit undercooked. The wings were so tiny, they seemed to be pigeon wings. Aweful wings period; it was the worst wings I ever tasted.Not ever going back.
They chicken is dry and old and they always cheat me on fries give me regular size instead of a large like I order like stop it already other locations always give right size large fries won’t ever go back here there’s a new location closer to me now yayy! This location will get someone sick or hurt period!

This Popeyes location is horrible avoid at all costs. Today is my third time giving it a try. I went through the drive thru for lunch and ordered a spicy chicken sandwich which. I took the first bite and it was like eating a piece of chicken that was submerged in grease along with being doughy and tasteless. It also smelled like fish I went over to McDonald’s down the road and honestly their chicken sandwich was better than the Popeyes in LZ. This place is awful. I’ve tried to give it one last try, but sadly I will not be returning to this Popeyes location in Lake Zurich, this place definitely needs management to take a look at their operations.
This place must be striving to be the worst Popeyes on the planet (and it's succeeding). The staff is rude and often gets the order wrong. No matter what time of day, the chicken is likely to be so stale it's inedible. There is obviously a total management failure.

The blackened chicken sandwich was the best thing i’ve gotten in a long time! So much better than any grilled chicken sandwich you can get anywhere else around here. You’d have to drive to Indianapolis to get to the nearest Zaxby’s.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!! This Popeyes location made me SICK!!! On 8/8/23 around 8:01pm I ordered chicken nuggets through their app, went to the window to pick them up and was informed it would take a few minutes and I should pull around to the door and wait. Fine. I received my order after about five minutes and tried a few nuggets on my way home, they tasted horrible, like old cold nuggets mixed with fresh hot but raw nuggets. Some of the nuggets were absolutely saturated in a vile and putrid tasting oil. I wound up sick that night and into the next day. I missed a day of work because of the ineptitude of the employees at this location. I WILL NEVER EAT POPEYES EVER AGAIN. The Lale County Health Department should investigate and close down this location.

Three strikes and your out.This time I got sick. The chicken tasted funny so I stopped eating it but it was too late. That night I got sick to my stomach and all night and the next morning was spent on the toilet. This is the third time I've had a bad experience at the Lake Zurich location. Now I'm done. No more Popeyes.
