This bakery and the staff are exceptional. We have always been pleased with the quality of the food and the politeness of the staff. It is truely a reminder of what an American food establishment used to be and still is. Hope it stays around for another 50 years.
We needed a birthday cake last minute and when I say last minute I mean 1hr prior to the party, and Calumet Bakery saved the day. The cake was beautiful and delicious! I know this situation isn't ideal and wouldn't always work out but just showing appreciation for how you all pulled this together for us.
I have been coming here for 30+ years. I've always loved this place. Celebrated just about every occasion with a cake from there. Just picked up a small cake for my little babies birthday.
