Only place I get my ice cream now! Always greeted when I walked through door no matter how busy and staff is always attentive and friendly. My favorite is the pistachio ice cream. And to be able to get chocolates too is the icing on top for sure.

This is my 2nd time being a patron of this establishment. My 1st was a great experience however, I'm really disappointed with what I received today. I ordered a hot fudge brownie Sundae for $8+ and got a cup of vanilla with whip and nuts. Not a drop of fudge and the brownie was a tiny brownie puck that you buy in bulk from the grocery store. This is subpar for this establishment. I didn't notice till I got home and opened my Sundae. I live 20 mins away. This really killed my vibe

Best ice cream sundae I've ever had! I got the pecan sundae - vanilla ice cream and it comes with hot fudge and whipped cream. The whipped cream is made in house and is not sweetened, which pairs great with all the sweet ice cream and toppings. Apparently people used to purchase tubs of it on its own - how about that. My boyfriend gets the vanilla malt and it has set the bar for ice cream for his entire life. To put the cherry on top of the old-timey experience, you gotta ask for your treat to be served in glassware. But you still get a plastic spoon.
This is a great experience and they have terrific ice cream Friday night after we went to the Beggars Pizza in Lansing, which is a great place to take your kids on a Friday between 630 and 830. We went to Gades which is a Chicago block away and had ice cream, my Brian and I shared a glass dish with mint chip ice cream covered with a wonderful amount of hot fudge. It was terrific. One of our friends had a cherry ice cream treat had a soda and one had some of their wonderful chocolates that they make themselves this is 100 year old ice cream parlor been in several locations started in Chicagoand is just a wonderful treat for anybody. This should get six stars but I've only got five to give.

We just moved out to Lansing a few years ago. Learning the area and looking for something sweet my wife and I found this place. This place is amazing! Ice cream smooth as silk! Chocolates beyond anything you would think. And delicious too. The staff is so friendly and patient while you stand there indecisive about what to pick next. This is a must if you are in the area!
