The food is excellent,and the atmosphere is relaxed. Sometimes I hear the other patrons making passive aggressive remarks about non white groups. Nothing too harsh but might not be welcoming to some people but definitely worth the visit.

I just happened to crash out in Lansing Illinois for the night. This place was right down the road from my room. Had an old school look and a comfortable feeling. The bartender that waited on me was an absolute doll. She took great care of me. I got the twisted turkey sandwich and the rueben quesadilla. I really wasn't expecting much, but let me tell you they were both fantastic. They obviously only use grade A ingredients and it shows. If you're ever in Lansing illinois, JJ KELLEYS is a must stop.

Abysmally slow service despite apparently having enough staff for them to play slots between pestering customers. Waited about 45 minutes on a few draft beers before we split. Look elsewhere.

The bartender put our drink to her nose not once but three times to smell them..then was offended when we asked for new drinks..got up walked out..never will return

Great place. They have a full bar, full dining area, a nice big deck, and they have slot machines. There is also daily events posted, if that your thing. There is a wall to pay tribute to veterans and I love that being my day was a veteran. May he RIP. This place is a hidden gem and will be my new spot! Oh the food and the drinks were amazing!!
