The food is excellent,and the atmosphere is relaxed. Sometimes I hear the other patrons making passive aggressive remarks about non white groups. Nothing too harsh but might not be welcoming to some people but definitely worth the visit.
I just happened to crash out in Lansing Illinois for the night. This place was right down the road from my room. Had an old school look and a comfortable feeling. The bartender that waited on me was an absolute doll. She took great care of me. I got the twisted turkey sandwich and the rueben quesadilla. They have a full bar, full dining area, a nice big deck, and they have slot machines. There is also daily events posted, if that your thing.
There is a wall to pay tribute to veterans and I love that being my day was a veteran. May he RIP.
