The food is disgusting. I ordered a Thursday special the mini tip and Linkk terrible the rib tips were cold no Sauce it was a horrible experience never again I wouldn’t recommend to anyone in the neighborhood.

A waste of money. Me and my husband drove 1 hour for no reason. It was truly a waste of money and time. The food didn’t have any seasoning. It tasted old, and you barely get any food. It’s not worth the price at all. We spent $67 on some of the worst BBQ I ever had. The food tasted old and it was cold. Please don’t waste your money. The fries was terrible tasted like they had been sitting for hours. They didn’t have no salt no pepper no nothing. The ribs were like rubber bands. The tips was too hard to eat. The hot links wasn’t even hot links. We don’t know what kind of sausage that was. When I say trash I say TRASH. Hot garbage 💯 The food wasn’t hot though. TRASH! The owner sound be ashamed of himself.

Food is trash don't waste your money. They serving old dried out rib tips the hot link was a burnt hot dog the slab was under cook and pink no seasoning on anything there and overpriced it was all wrong on so many levels. I should have known it was a red flag when there was no line on Labor day just So disappointed.smh.😞

I haven't been to a Kenny's Ribs in years, ever since they left Chicago's Southside location on Halsted. This was a much needed treat for my family and me. I missed the rib tips and fries buried in mild sauce. I also tried turkey tips for the first time and discovered a new favorite. I was disappointed that there were no longer dessert options to choose from. I was looking forward to some peach cobbler. I would recommend this restaurant and tell you it's worth the drive from Chicago.

What more can I say. Whenever I am in town it's a must stop if not the first stop before the in-laws. Chicken was awesome. Ribs were perfect. Keep doing what you do.

I would not recommend this place. We went when they first opened. We ordered the special for that day. Got home that meat had to be from the day before. It was too tough to chew. You can see that it was old after biting into it. I didn’t called back because we lived far away from them and didn’t want a replacement order. They need to throw out the night before meat and cook fresh meat.

Sorry Kenny, I've known you since you opened your first store on Stony Island in Chicago. The Lansing store has become a neglected dump. Food sizes are smaller, and prices are appallingly high. My links were bagged sideways, and almost all of the sauce was in the bag! After 40 years. I'm done.
Cashier was very friendly and helpful but we were very disappointed in the quality of the food. The Rib tips were as tough as a gym shoe and mostly uneatible. You have to know that you are selling meat that tough, I didn't understand how that happened. It was a waste of money that ended up as the dog's meal.

I came on the 4th of July 2025. I ordered a mini tip/ link combo & a small tip cut thin. I waited about 15 to 20 mins and paid $41 for my order which was not a problem. The rib tips were VERY lightly seasoned, were not hot, and the link was the same. Also not tender! Nothing to brag about! I will stick to my normal Chicago spots.

After preordering my food because I knew it would busy they waited until I got up to counter then cancelled my order after waiting ten to fifteen minutes in line for my order. They could have just said they were running behind but instead I wasted gas money coming out to their place of business

I had the Kenny’s craving for some time now so I called in my order Lg tip dinner extra sauce and a bottle of sauce. The young lady that took the order was very nice and pleasant. I did have sticker shock when I added a mini turkey tip and medium greens she tells me $63.00. Wow inflation is real… but i figured the food is great so why not. I got home to open my lg tip dinner and what use to be a full plate of ribs and fries looked to be 1/2 full… I understand cost of everything has gone up but the amount of food you get shouldn’t have gone down. Nonetheless I began to eat the ribs and to say the quality was worth it is an understatement. The rib tips were hard to chew and had no sauce on them, they looked burnt or as if they were leftovers from the day before. Sorry to say i won’t be going back. Kenny Sr or Jr if you guys want to keep up in the business you may want to get involved in your Lansing location. Quality of food was disgusting, and the portion was pitiful. Looks like this place is a thing of the past! Now i see why the place was empty besides the 6 employees it was pretty lonely in there… How sad!!!
