I was there Saturday loved the vide staff was very friendly drinks are goods I also had a chance to meet the owner Chris who was very welcoming and honest I did wish u had a small bites menu or another option than chicken when I looked the bar up on Google it had the u won an award for Buffalo Pizza I really wanted to try keep up the good work I will be back again

My husband and I love this place! We’ve gone quite a few times. Very intimate atmosphere, and I love that it feels 30+ when we go.
We once walked in right when they were opening and was able to participate in an impromptu drink making competition between the bartenders and owners… and we got to participate. It was so fun!
Their humor feels like family, like cousins almost lol. We frequent pretty often and will be back soon.
Lemon drops and their Stoney Island Ice tea are great. And the chicken that you can order next door comes delivered right to your table. Wayyyy better than Harold’s. I can say SOA much more but it’s a great black owned establishment

Chris is so professional! Very nice, personable, and entertaining. The atmosphere is super dope, the food and drinks are really good! I’ll definitely be back. If you’re looking for a nice and mature crowd, this is the place to be. Larry Hott and is also one of my favorite DJ’s, come check him out on Friday nights!
We went out to celebrate the 35th birthday of one of my girlfriends from college. The DJ was amazing! Last night was my first time there and I can say it won’t be my last. The drinks were a hit and that chicken was fried to perfection! 🙌🏾 🍹 🍗

I'm a year over due for this review. I love this place, we stopped here for a couple drinks and we loved it. The atmosphere is simply cozy. Not a lot going on (in a great way), a place where adults can enjoy themselves and feel safe. We didn't get to try any food, but it sure did smell good.
