Adorable bakery with awesome coffee! This place had a nice steady flow of customers at 1 o'clock, most were buying the loaves of fresh bread. We just stopped for a coffee but I was truly tempted by the pastries as well. We had just eaten otherwise I would have grabbed one. Our cold brew coffee was really delicious and we are slightly picky about coffee. The caramel cold foam was a delight, glad we added it. Stop in and check this place out - it's really great!

Very nice place. Great food. Tried 2 paninis, a cookie, and 2 fresh brownies! Water was filtered, which was a nice touch. Lasalle water sucks. We will definitely make this a regular lunch spot.

I just had the best sourdough of my life from Millstone Bakery. The first bite of their Cranberry Pecan sourdough took me back to my first trip to Europe. The crunchy shell and soft fluffy center was amazing. This bakery is a must stop.

i don’t do google reviews but holy moly. this place is amazing. my boyfriend took me here for our 4 year anniversary breakfast. everything we bought was delicious. i had a cinnamon roll to start the day soft, gooey, and warm. carrot muffin was everything i’ve been craving for the past 6 months. and oh my god … my boyfriend made pumpkin soup for our sourdough bread bowls. it is the best bread i’ve had in my life. thank you millstone bakery for filling my weekend with these wonderful eats. i will definitely be visiting again

Quality craftsmanship! Delicious creations by people who know how to make pastries and bread. The lavender honey latte...so good. Today I tried the fire roasted corn and jalapeño danish and it was just ?

The food was amazing! I got this pepperoni pastry and a blueberry lemon scone and both exceeded my expectations, especially the pepperoni thing... can't remember what it was actually called. Only downside is the limited hours.

Best bakery in a 100-mile radius. Always get the loaf of the day and a pastry.

Every week, I count down until "Millstone Thursday" when you open for the week. The staff, the owners, the Bakery items - everything is amazing! My faves include the lavender blueberry muffin, almond croissant, or Berry danishes. All their breads are great, too. Highly recommend. If you are within a reasonable drive of the Bakery, I highly recommend you stop in.

Finally had time to try the Italian bread and sourdough. I had others rave about the bread. They were correct..its wonderful, much better than the processed breads in the stores or the frozen dough breads that are baked in the big box stores. Exceeded my expectations. Staff was very nice and helpful. My first visit was extremely pleasant. Those who think it's expensive, it's quality ingredients and competitive to similar quality items. I've paid more or the same for inferior products outside the Illinois Valley. These items are high quality, reasonably priced for what you purchase.

Great bakery! We noticed this place and decided to see what they had there. We selected a few items for carry out and they were delicious. Prices were reasonable and the staff was awesome! Definitely check it out, preferably early so your favorites aren't already sold out.

Millstone is a great place to get something to satisfy your sweet tooth. And the sourdough is out of this world. Get there early to get some while it's warm; then hurry home to put some butter on it and enjoy with your morning coffee
