We had a really nice dinner for our daughter's birthday at Evangelines. The service was lovely, we weren't rushed and the dinner was delicious. Everyone LOVED every dish served. We had a large party and they even had a Happy Birthday sign on the table. The desserts were delicious! Can't wait to make this a regular stop when we are in Tuscaloosa!
My husband and I are slowly getting back out post-pandemic. I treated him to Evangeline's tonight. It was a great visit. Claire was a wonderful server. I had the curry and coconut chicken, a new dish since I last visit. My husband had the scallops. For starters, we had greens (brussel sprouts) with pork and the crab cakes. I am stuffed! This is a great restaurant. There is a good variety of appetizers, salads, and entrees. Service is very attentive. Prices are reasonable. The Parmesan crusted catfish was delicious.
