“Great little ice cream shop in a little town. Very pleasant atmosphere with a very good staff. Some Leland memorabilia has been added to the inside decor. Makes it fun to look at during your short wait. Outside and inside seating.”

“I and my family abs love this Cafè!! The owners are wonderful and Sam is such a wonderful cook. All the gluten free options I've had have been absolutely delish and my SIL is vegan and she absolutely loves all of their unique dishes. I'm obsessed with their BLT with their onion jam and garlic aiola. my daughter loves the grilled cheese. Their unique teas are fantastic as is their coffee drinks. I am always looking forward to going here. I never feel ill or heavy when I leave.”

“I am posting this as a huge kudos to Lindsey and John, I think. Tonight was a food truck fundraiser for a local family and Subway thought it would be a quiet night. Well the food truck sold out in record time, which led the hungry masses to the local Subway.

These two were tag teaming online orders, in store orders, and running the gas station lines as well. This is tough on a normal day, but when every order had at minimum of 4 sandwiches that came in, these two taught a master class on patience, and team work. They ran out of bread, ran out of knives, and yet never ran out of patience no matter how many times the bell rang. You two are truly an asset to the Subway mega chain, and I hope they know that!

By the by- food was a four only because a ham sandwich with bacon was only prepared with bacon. But that, is a minute detail knowing how hard they work!”

“PSA to paddlers: They do have a canoe/kayak launch, but it doesn't look like it's been used in years and consists of very steep, narrow, rotting steps that are dicey to maneuver. We did manage to get a canoe and four kayaks down to launch there but I wouldn't recommend it. Probably better to launch from the bridge at Highway 52 (although I have no personal experience there).”
