“We actually had the Tomato Bisque soup, broasted chicken, pasta salad, pork tenderloin sandwich, and potato wedges. The staff was awesome and friendly and the food was fresh and very tasty.Kid-friendliness: Bar and grillWheelchair accessibility: Nice wide entrance”
“This cute little Coffee House even has a drive through window! A perfect spot for a craft coffee on your way through a small town. The Lavender Cold Brew w/ a splash of cream was so well balanced and flavorful!!”
“The food here is EXCELLENT. The chorizo biscuits and gravy are exquisite make sure you get your own order because you won't want to share. Service is polite and the atmosphere is to be expected for a country type diner. Food portions are also good, my son's chicken tendies were big enough he ended up having leftovers for a snack later and appears as though they fried fresh chicken as opposed to nuking frozen ones.Parking: Plenty of parking every time we've been even when it's been busy.Kid-friendliness: Friendly with kiddos, good kids menuWheelchair accessibility: All floor level, no automatic doors so bring a friend or knock on the door for someone to open it.”
“We love Rambos and the pizza - we always have great service except for this Friday - 65 minutes for a pizza - we almost walked out - thank goodness for the appetizers - Common Rambos - you can do better ! - We will be back, the pizza is that good and the owner is a nice guy - but that was not good experience.”
“Great place to have a beer and relax in a comfortable, friendly atmosphere. Food is really good too! Especially pork tenderloin sandwich ?. Never disappoints. Good times!”
“I came home from Colorado, and all I wanted was a delicious pizza with HOT/giardiniera. To my surprise, they have both mild & hot! I, of course, had to do an Italian beef pizza, so I could get my beef fix before heading to Portillos the next day.Colorado is a pizza desert... I couldn't choose just 1 pizza. We also ordered plain cheese, veggie, and sausage/pepperoni. They were all amazing!I used to work at the Waterman Pizza Villa location for those that remember, and I can't wait to get Fat Olives when I'm home. This will now be a regular stop. Also, shout out to Chumley's in Shabonna as you are not competitors. They are a great location. I can eat pizza everyday!Make route 30 a pizza destination!!!”
“What an absolutely hidden gem in this small town. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Everything we had was excellent. It has a fun atmosphere full of vintage toys and vintage video games. I just can't wait to go back.... Do not overlook the pulled chicken, it was very good.”
“Came in there for the first time over Memorial Day Weekend. The service was outstanding, the food very tasty (and affordable). It's a great small town bar & grill.”
“This is a cute little place and the food pretty darn good. They serve several different things- the best of which is homemade fries-yum! I also had a huge pulled pork sandwich. The girls that work there are very nice and there's inside and outside seating and a drive through. We plan to go again when out for a ride.”
“This is a must try when near Shabbona. The pizza was delicious with savory sauce, abundant cheese and a perfect pizza crust. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. I recommend this as a carry out restaurant. Shabbona is a very close knit small town.”
“We plan on coming here every weekend in the summer for bands and great food! Everything I've ordered here is great and the staff is like family to each other. Love the view and great place to host parties and events!Parking: There aren't lined space and that upsets my husband but everyone is curtious to others. Lots of parking availableKid-friendliness: They have a sand pit outside for kids to play in its the the left of the outside stage”
“The workers are always enthusiastic, they pay attention to detail. Nice little throwback to yesteryear AmericanaI'm going to miss them starting Sunday October 29th, since they're starting their winter break”
“Waitress was great. Been in there a few times. Was camping close by & it was raining. Great food service & prices are reasonable!! Dont remember the waitress name but she said she travles bout half hour she said..”
“All around nice country dinner. The cheese burgers are very good and breakfast is what you would expect from a dinner, it’s always tasty and served in a very timely fashion. I enjoy the biscuits and gravy. Clean bathroom and nice servers.”
“The best diner we've found across nine states! Clean, attractive, great service, clean restrooms, and awesome food! I loved the vegetable soup and mostaccioli with meatballs and rich and chunky red sauce. Reuben soup and mushroom Swiss burger looked excellent, too. It was worth driving 7 miles off of I39.”
“Good food, good service, friendly staff. A Wednesday afternoon was not busy, and the service was fast for delicious and inexpensive meals. Sunday morning was busy, but the service was still unexpectedly good.”
“The staff at this location is helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this location as I have been going their for a long time now, and I will continue to go their. Great food, clean, and overal a great location. This is my go to Subway.”
“A cool oasis on I-88 that, in my opinion, is decently well-kept. There is a big compass embedded in the sidewalk on the entryway that is pretty cool. A neighboring gas station is right next to it too. Inside, there's plenty of empty kiosks where you can tell there was a restaurant there in the past, but there is still some decent places you can dine at. They have (as of Dec 2017) the following: Panda Express McDonalds Starbucks Sbarros At least these were the more notable places. There's plenty of open seating at this place, with even some plugs for you to plug in your phone or any type of electronics BATHROOM REVIEW: Pretty decent bathroom with plenty of urinals and stalls. My only gripe of this bathroom is the entry way; you have to go through this barely two-person wide narrow arse hallway to fully enter the bathroom. Other than that, the bathroom was clean and roomy. Sit or squat? I'd still squat”
“Great food, drinks, service and company! We love going on Monday's for dollar burger night. Wednesdays they have pastas and the Queen of Hearts weekly drawing and Friday fish fry! Great small town bar!”
“I’ve been to many Sbarros before and this one has to been one. Not only was the service really good, but the employees kept the place looking really clean at all times.”
“Night shift here is awesome! Younger dude with the glasses is great and super friendly and awesome. Our food was hot and fresh and he made sure of it!!! Deserves a raise you can tell he really is great with his job!”
“Actually went there early for lunch just to take a peek at the food on my way out on a long drive and the gentleman was nice enough to let me know they don't do samples anymore which is fine and that they close around seven so I knew that I had enough time when I got there and I was patient and let somebody else go online that they were thinking of looking around and I had a three entrée. The noodles are great do you want chicken was fresh and hot I waited for new stuff to come out. The teriyaki chicken was fresh and hot and delicious. Yeah they don't do fresh sauces anymore. I don't care and then actually the new shrimp. I save till the next morning and re-here in my own walk and it was yummy.”
“Everything I've had has been fantastic!Dietary restrictions: I can't have flour/gluten. They don't always have food I can eat, but they often do, and it's delicious. They list their ingredients for each item on their website, though there is always a cross contamination risk. If you're super sensitive it it could still be an issue for you.”
