It's a great old school tavern that started in 1945. Original owner sold it but the current owners kept the same flare that had been there forever. Staff is great food is great music was great. Historic Lamont tavern that you should visit.

Well, I've been there a few times to me and my husband went there today. He got the 1 pound burger. I got the Patty, melt and 2 bags of chips and water. And pop while the waitress didn't answer as if we wanted it medium rare or well done. They came both my husband's burger overcooked and my Patty m out overcooked the waitress was such an hurry, she said, how was it? I said they were overcook. , she said oh sorry. Well, that's not cutting it. You know why a good restaurant server would have said? Let me talk to the manager and get you another. Burger or makeup. The difference that did not happen. We gave her the $40. A bill was 29. 02 gave her a of $10.Tip My husband brought it up to the bar because she was too busy. I think she was the only waitress working and I'm not coming back again. A dry burger is disgusting, especially for $30.00

Great experience! The people working there are so much fun and the food is awesome! If you've never experienced a 1 pound burger this should be on your list. We will definitely be back.
