I was camping from out of state and and came to get some ice cream. They were closed on Sat during a heat wave. They would've made a killing in 90 degree heat wave but they were closed at 330 on sat. I had to go somewhere else.

Kid-friendliness: Have a little outdoor picnic area with some kids toys, some donkeys and animals for them to see
It’s a nice family-run deli. Sandwiches were delish! When I’m on that road again and need a quick nosh or want to pick up some things for later, I will make the stop.

This was the first time we stopped here since they remodeled the store. Now it's more open and spacious with sit down tables, clean washrooms, the usual excellent sandwiches, and cheese curds that are too die for. They also had a great selection of regional cheeses. Highly recommended if traveling through or local.

Cute little shop, small selection and lots of empty shelves. Ordered a sandwich and was so disappointed at how stale the bread was. Unfortunately the stale dry bread ruined the rest of the sandwich and it felt like something I could make at home with old ingredients. Price was reasonable, but super disappointed.

Stopped in with my wife for some Ice cream and am really glad we did. We drive through the area frequently during the summer and now have a new place to stop. The young woman working was very friendly and attentive. My wife is very picky about her ice cream and was thoroughly impressed. We were also just overwhelmed with how adorable and well behaved the pup was, she was just a joy to pet. We will definitely be back to grab some coffee or lunch in the future!

What an absolutely awesome little shop!!! Stocked with something for EVERYONE and all supplied by local vendors! The family who runs the shop is super sweet, the food is amazing, and it’s an absolutely MUST to stop and see!
Not worth the 30 min wait..only ordered 2 drinks..staff not capable of multitasking.Atmosphere was okay, not sure they're suppose to have a dog running around in a food business.Owner did apologize for wait, still wasn't great customer service. For a wait that long, it would have been nice to have been offered the coffee for free, or even something small, like a cookie.

I want to thank Kim for taking care of me. With maple syrup season in full swing and I know how fast they sell out of the syrup they make and I won't be able to make it there for awhile Kim took a order for me and mailed me 2qts of their amazing syrup. I received in 2 days and have already enjoyed it on my pancakes. Thank you Kim and ScottAlso if you get a chance to stop at the barrel and brie you will not be disappointed go hungry and have some pulled pork taco or brisket. And they have so many other products from cheese wine and many other treats. My friend and I came at the end of the day so we were the only people in the deli besides the worker. She was very nice to us and served our ice cream with a smile. The inside of the deli was very pleasing to look at with many products from local businesses. If you're looking for some quality cheese, meat, and delicious ice cream I definitely would stop by Barrel and Brie.
