This place is an absolute must every time I visit Illinois to see my husband. I go at least once a month, and it’s hands-down my favorite spot. The food is incredible, especially the chicken parm — it’s so good that I come back home to Canada still craving it. Nothing compares, and it’s always the first place I look forward to visiting. Consistently delicious and always worth the trip.

We eat here on a regular basis. The pizzas are great.the wings are awsome. The homemade dipping sauces can't be beat, especially the blue cheese so thick and creamy it's absolutely the best. We ordered the lasagna for our Christmas dinner this year and in my personal opinion it was the best lasagna I have ever had. I would definitely recommend..

Saporito’s Pizzeria is about 14 miles from me i live in Freeport, but the drive was well worth it. This is a true mom-and-pop pizzeria that offers both excellent food and warm, friendly service. The pizza was outstanding—perfect crust, flavorful sauce, and fresh toppings. They also have a good selection of classic Italian favorites beyond just pizza. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the kind of place where you immediately feel at home. Service was quick and attentive, and everything came out hot and fresh. If you’re looking for an authentic, family-run spot with top-quality pizza and Italian food, I highly recommend Saporito’s. I’ll definitely be back!

Asked for ham but got roast beef, asked for ground beef and didn't get it . Was to be ready in 1 hr and 20 min and it was 1 hr and 40 min .
It’s a decent but authentic Italian restaurant with decent pizza and good spaghetti. The pepperoni pizza has the pepperoni slices underneath the cheese which I’ve never seen before. It’s a small place and it’s usually busy so getting a seat can be tricky. The other problem with place itself is that the kitchen has no walls so all the smoke from the kitchen circles around in the dining area which is annoying. The other problem is that you can’t get a small pizza or a single slice so I wouldn’t recommend eating here by yourself (unless you can finish a whole big pizza by yourself) overall it’s decent but there are better places to go to in Lena.

Look i’m a huge fan of Italian Food, but not all italian food is good. It loses credibility when it tastes like it came out of a can. One bite of this pizza tonight, i could taste quality and authentic. This stuff is made from scratch. We had pizza, House salad and a slice of awesome cheesecake. Please get the house salad, it’s phenomenal!! You can just tell the sausage is homemade and so are the dressings! It’s rare when you find a restaurant that actually still makes their own dressing! They do! Do yourself a favor and stop here! Phenomenal quality homemade food, YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!
