A wonderful local restaurant run by a outstanding member of the Lena community. I used to work here! The wonderful Ruth who runs both the antique shop and the eatery is a lovely person and an amazing boss. The way in which she taught me to handle food, present food, and waitress was always in the best interest of the customer. Trust if you eat at the Lena mercantile eatery, you will be thoroughly satisfied with the delicious food with a homey feel, and excellent customer service.

Eclectic cafe in the back of an antique shop. Must be willing to enjoy a slow pace to appreciate the fare. Eat small and save room for dessert. Grandmothers make the best
I had shopped here before and thoroughly enjoyed it but finally had a chance to enjoy lunch! It was thoroughly delightful! Just like being at Ruth’s table in her home. The cappuccino was real, just like they do it in Italy! Lots of foam! Lunch was delicious and the portion size was so big, I brought half home for dinner! We had a wonderful time and I look forward to returning soon! Oh, and the shopping is great too! Prices are very reasonable! Five stars for this lovely little gem!

Stopped in to browse and have lunch. Very nice place! Lunch was ham and broccoli quiche, turkey wrap, chicken dumpling soup and bread pudding for dessert. All the food was delicious, and freshly prepared! We had a wonderful lunch and shopping trip!
What a wonderful selection of antiques and old stuff, at good prices, with delightful proprietors, plus perfect espresso drinks, candy, cheese, and ice cream. (Apparently I missed the honey). If I lived within 200 miles I would do all my holiday shopping here. Our good luck to come across it accidentally, looking for a different espresso place up the road.
Great food. Friendly people. And a really quaint setting. The Eatery is tucked in the back of Lena Mercantile. Thus, the main general store is open longer hours, and the restaurant is open 11am to 2pm.
We were needing a stop and thought the other restaurants sounded better than the food looked. We thought we'd give this one a try. To the owner's credit, she served us a bit earlier than the hours. Great coffee and tea for my British husband (difficult to find good tea in US). Her homemade baked goods were great, all whilst sitting in a 'kitchen' that has the throw-back look to my grandmother's. Fun!
