Each time I dine at LS, I’m incredibly impressed that we have this gem nearby. The quality is what you would expect in the city…just top notch. My friends and I enjoy getting different dishes so we can try everything. The cocktails are incredible too. Highly recommend for date night, special occasion or to hang in the bar with friends. Don’t miss out on the amazing desserts too!

Everything we ate and drank was absolutely delicious. The service was exceptional and the restaurant was very inviting and comfortable. The only negative thing I can say is there was a sizable group of bones left in my trout. It happens, we will definitely be back!

The best food with beautiful ambiance and top notch service. They have a wonderful menu that changes to what is available and growing in the community. Fa to table never tasted so good!

Had heard wonderful reviews about Lexington Social and wanted to give it a try. The eclectic restaurant is situated in the cutest old train depot and has a very intimate atmosphere. The food is very tasty but portions are very small for the amount of money they are priced at. We had the Slagel chicken which comes with a sauce and about 3 mushrooms on top. No sides. $28.00. We had also ordered two appetizers that were also tiny - literally arranged on a quarter of a plate. We did have 4 people in our group so we each got a literal spoonful of each appetizer. They are delicious, but again you’d hope for something more substantial for the cost.Unfortunately we went on one of the hottest evenings of this summer. It was stifling in the restaurant. I get it…it’s an old building and I won’t fault the restaurant for that. However, when the temperature is so warm offering cold water instead of room temp water to the tables would be helpful. We asked our waiter twice for ice cubes to help cool our drinks - neither time were any brought to the table.I am giving you what myself and party experienced. The food is absolutely delicious. For the $ 350.00 we spent, none of us were full by the time we left. It was disappointing to say the least.

Great food and service, As long a restaurant can serve seafood without overcooking it and thankfully this is one of those gems!

The food and service are unparalleled! You can feel the owner and staff's desire to create a memorable experience. Most restaurants can learn a thing or two from Lexington Social.

Thoroughly enjoyed dinner at Lexington Social. This is a small town and certainly ch3cks the box if you want locally owned vs chain. Service was friendly and good vibes. Food menu is limited but they were excellent. Two tips: be prepared for a little bit of a wait. Food takes a while to cook but not to the point that it is inconvenient. The other is that they market themselves as a 'casual' dining experience. I felt very under dressed. This is definitely being treated as a fine dining establishment by the folks that eat there.

The entire experience at The Lexington Social completely exceeded my expectations for a restaurant in central Illinois. Dylan and Lauren were welcoming, warm, and helpful, and it was a pleasure to have owner Chef Jon stop by the table to check in on us and chat. It was fun starting the night with a zero proof cocktail before moving onto some excellent appetizers. The food was incredible; we had several apps, a perfectly cooked ribeye, and ended the meal with a delicious mocha torte. The night was unforgettable, and I can’t wait to return!

We are truly blessed to have this gem! The food is next level. The cuts from Slagel are superb, the oysters they get flown in are the best and the only time we splurge on dessert is here. The staff is an amazing team of people! Everytime we go we learn something new and are impressed. The mixologist, Luna is seriously the best!

If I could give 0 stars I would. First time trying this place. Our service was beyond poor as there is no way it takes more than 20 min to pour a beer and the menu was misleading. We are locals with advanced pallets and won't return, ever.
