Conscious cup is my go to in town, even though we have quite a few independent coffee shops. The drinks and food are great. Disappointed with the price updates lately, a sandwich is now the same price as it used to be but a half size. I understand the rising costs of things but I think management needs to reconsider this or adjust prices to bring back the original sizes.
Such a cute coffee shop, I like my honey iced coffee 🐝
Great place to sit and enjoy coffee.
Just bought a lemon & blueberry scone - beware the icing is bitter. I had to peel it off - won’t try that again. Did anyone taste the icing before adding? It is not lemon juice that I know of- suspiciously an additive? Sorry Conscious - I’ll stick to a cappuccino 😌
Super cute place! The coffee was delicious and the customer service was very friendly & knowledgable!
I give this place 5⭐️
Omg that Avo'Bacato add tots was soooo good. I'm still thinking about it. The atmosphere was cool although they need a few more outlets. Service was fast for breakfast. If I'm ever in that area I will be stopping in for breakfast AND lunch.
I visited for the first time, super cute inside and I had a delicious latte!
$8 for a small cup of sugar. Ordered the smallest cup on the menu. Out of stock on ingredients, so I ordered a regular chai latte. Nothing special no add ons no extra shots. What’s conscious about overpriced carcinogenic cup of sugar? I had to throw away the latte because it didn’t taste good at all. I might as well drove down the street and paid for a venti and actually enjoyed my drink.
Pros: The iced caramel vanilla latte was great! And good atmosphere.
Cons: Not the friendliest service. And the 55 cent up-charge for an iced drink is a bit ridiculous.
Nevertheless, worth a stop if you find yourself in the area.
We stopped by Conscious Cup while on a long roadtrip from Minnesota to a Chicago suburb to visit family. This coffee shop was so welcoming, with friendly, speedy service, and delicious food and coffee. I ordered tofu breakfast tacos and a decaf iced latte — and both were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is perfect for working, sitting and chatting, or in our case, spending quality time with family. I recommend a visit!

The coffee is delicious, as are the pastries and other food. They even have gluten-free pastry options. The main coffee menu is great, but they always have tasty seasonal flavors as well. I love the granita lattes. Sometimes, they offer tours of their roastery in Crystal Lake, IL. I highly recommend it. You will learn a lot. The Libertyville location is in a cute historic building. It's a popular place, so sometimes, the wait can be a bit long, but it's always delicious. The staff are great too.
