Our server was exceptional. He helped with beer and wine suggestions as well as helping out my husband when he didn't care for his dinner selection (he can be a bit grumpy sometimes). Our waiter made sure to help my sister-in-law with her eclectic tastes in beer and then again with dessert.
Hostesses seemed bothered we did not want table in aisle next to bar, when we had made a window or wall request with our reservation. Food was eh. Warm goat cheese app was a small mini size ball smothered in onion and tomato sauce. Not enough for 2 people. Grilled cheese looked like it was made with end pieces, fries limp and tepid, chicken bowl better at Chipotle lol. Burgers were okay. Server while very pleasant never came to check. Anything and everything on the menu I find somewhat unique and interesting. There always seems to be something else to choose from and that is good. You never get tired of coming to Firkin. Ambience is just about perfect too.
