The food here is delicious & everyone was so nice! They gave my kids lollipops on the way out, which they especially loved. The sushi tasted very fresh and the hibachi was amazing (especially the rice). 10/10 experience, this is our new go-to hibachi place

It was a day to remember when I thought of hosting a party to grace the occasion of my grand daughter Vismaya’s promotion graduation to middle school. I was suggested to have it at Hanakawa Japanese Steak & Sushi Bar restaurant. The whole family not regretted the choice and
enjoyed. An ambience of authenticity, experienced chefs, tasteful food and lovable staffs.

I've loved this place for 20 years. Amazing atmosphere, amazing food. My favorite is the golden shrimp, teriyaki salmon, salad with ginger dressing, and delicious fried rice. Though there isnt any food that isnt delicious here. It's always such a treat to eat here.

Went in today to celebrate early Mother’s Day. Lady upstairs was rude to my son because she misheard his order and it was wrong. Didn’t wanna fix issues actually wanted to over charge me. Owner nice man but this lady I didn’t know how to take accountability or make customer happy or feel wanted.

Decided to try this place out and it was a welcoming experience. The staff were great very friendly. Service was excellent. Tried the hibachi grill so we could see some fire 🔥 in action. The golden shrimp was good, the steak fillet mignon($4 extra) with the hibachi flavor was decent also had an option of fried rice and one choice of side which I picked the California roll. There’s gyoza and shrimp tempura options as well. Overall this is a good place for family and birthdays. They have a little pond with three turtles and a couple of fish swimming in there. The Hibachi Table seats 8 people. I will definitely be back with a bigger group.

It was a last minute stop on our way as we were so hungry and couldn’t find a Korean or Japanese place that would be open on Monday and wasn’t on a lunch break. We were pleasantly surprised how delicious food was. Not a large lunch menu, but everything was very fresh and exceptionally tasty.
Not my cup of tea when it comes down to atmosphere especially on the second floor, but maybe hibachi area on the first floor would be different. I would say good lunch break spot, but I wouldn’t have a dinner date there.

My wife and I have been coming to this spot for years and years! We cannot say enough good things about Hanakawa… the best food the best atmosphere and the owner and employees treat you like family there.
We’ve been to plenty of different Japanese steakhouses and this is BY FAR the best one out there. Would highly recommend to anyone !

Website did not say that the hibachi side of the restaurant was closed. We went to celebrate our anniversary and left disappointed.
Wheelchair accessible upstairs and downstairs! Delicious eats!
