Awesome good, great service. Located in strip mall, but full service, and good service!! Had carnitas taco & beans/rice, hubs had Corona, chorizo burrito & beans. All fantastic. Good serving size and reasonably priced. Chips & salsa fresh and tasty! Also bring 3 bottles of salsa to table in varying degrees of hot….Salsa Verde was my fave!Get here! Full service with a smile! Owner even checked on us. Highly recommend!

I was thrilled to find amazing vegetarian options like their chile relleno taco – easily one of the best I've ever eaten. Their bean and cheese gordita was also fantastic.But the real magic here is the sheer breadth and quality of their menu. During two visits, every item we sampled was top-notch – from delicate salmon tacos to crave-worthy street corn. This suburban taqueria dishes out food that rivals any trendy spot in Chicago, where I live. Don't be fooled by the unassuming strip mall location – La Mera Mera has serious culinary chops!

Wow, tacos here are amazing! Love the homemade tortillas. Our server was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.
Far better than your average greasy food taquiria. The owner was incredibly nice and helpful. I ordered an El pastor taco. I usually do flour tortillas instead of corn but since they make the latter in house chose that instead. 100% the correct decision. Never had a corn tortilla so fresh and tasty. The pork wasn't greasy and had superior flavor. On a whim also ordered the Korean taco with bulgogi spices and cabbage slaw. AMAZING flavor and texture. Got a carne asada burrito for my wife. You can tell they use superior Angus beef..it was top Notch in flavor and consistency.HIGHLY recommend this eatery. Will be back whenever I'm in the area.Parking: Easy.

By far the best tacos I've had in a very long time, and I was born in Guadalajara Mex and grew up on the Arizona / Mexico border. They have REAL Mexican food! It was prepared and presented to perfection and I can't wait to go back. It was SO damn good! J Cope

tried la mera mera for lunch today with a friend. nice menu, cheerful bright interior and very helpful server. i had the beyond meat tacos with cilantro, onions and avo; side of refried beans. my friend had a ground beef burrito. warm chips and salsa started us off happy. tables are clean and spaced comfortably. we were not rushed and our server was terrific. my tacos were YUM! definitely worth a trip back to try more menu items. so good!!
