Ordered a shrimp scampi and my friends also ordered a chicken dish (comes with the pasta). It was cooked perfectly al dente, and while slightly bland, the table salt and pepper could easily help you make it the way you like. Between the two though, the chicken was my favorite! It was cooked very well with a great sauce that came with it.

The interior is definitely older, with a low-lighting setting on. While not up to my taste, I can definitely see this location being far more enjoyable at night with the soft mood lighting.

The first time had wandered in I got the lasagna tho only ate a couple bites and was going to save the rest for next day lunch but when I was going to eat it my truck stalled on hiway and by the time I got back with jump start to where it was on the shoulder my truck was towed with all of my stuff and my food tho that was the first meal had in days of struggle so lost another vehicle to vulture impounds to lose more work and place to stay .. but the other day was my third experience and I was so pleased I made note to take a few minutes to express my gratitude .. the roast beef sandwich is an A+ the coleslaw was so good I was about to go back just for more slaw but then saw it was my lucky day seeing they blessed me with a spare coleslaw which made me smile .. the fries were about purrfect maybe a bit under salted but that's better and leaves option to add .. atmosphere friendly and clean ..

We have been to Lino’s many many times and have always had a wonderful experience. Food is great and if possible the service is even better. Highly recommend them.

We held a family funeral lunch at Lino’s. The staff was welcoming, attentive and very friendly as they took care of our party, which filled their banquet room. We had a couple of chicken dishes, a couple of vegetable dishes, a garden salad, potatoes, and cannoli for dessert. Our guests raved about the food, which was delicious and hot! We could not be more enthusiastic in our recommendation of Lino‘s!

Best tavern-style thin crust you can get here in Lake County. Frankly, I would put Lino's Thin Crust with the best in Chicago. Solid restaurant as well when you want to sit down for a good Italian meal but please, order one of their pies on your next pizza night.
