Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

This location is a complete disaster. This is the second time I’ve had an issue with my order at Lou Malnatis’s in libertyville. My pizza’s were delivered an hour late even though this order was placed ahead of time (2 hours). I got a text saying the pizza would be 15 mins late, then 45 minutes late. They rely on DoorDash to deliver their food which has never been reliable. My food was cold and needed to be microwaved. I called the restaurant to ask where my food was and they had no idea. I talked to a female manager named Danni and she said she would email me a gift card for the value of my order. I never got the gift card. I will never order from here again.

Food: Amazing! We come from Hawai'i and it was the best pizza we ever tasted! Those that had lactose issues didn't have any with these pizzas. Just learned we can order to ship.
Service: Our bruschetta was missing and they allowed us to pick it up another day. Everyone there is so friendly.
Location: It's a take out place and both times I came they were keeping the floor clean.
Definitely recommended for anyone headed to a boot camp graduation!

Ordered delivery and forgot to add ranch and thousand Island. So I called the store and spoke to a lady and asked if it's possible to add it to my delivery. She said yes and that I'll have to pay $4. I said no problem and paid with my card and she said it would be delivered with my food.

Sure enough not only did I not get the dressings I paid for I also didn't get my 4 pk of drinks I ordered.

Very disappointing.

I used to live in the Chicago area. I now live in Texas, and we can't get Lou Malnati's pizza. (So sad ?) We flew out of O'Hare after visiting my Dad in Wisconsin and stayed overnight in Vernon Hills. I was able to order pizza to bring in my carry-on back to Texas with me. It was just as good as I remember!
Dear Lou Malnati's, please open a location un Brownwood, TX. ♥️

Food and quality are always outstanding. There are always obstacles and moving parts in the food industry but Will, the manager went above and beyond today. We had an issue with our delivery (that was sent out to a third party) but he not only took time out of his busy shift to make sure we were taken care of but also took ownership of a fault was not his. He handled our issue personally, recovered and redirected the challenge and followed up to make sure we were not only satisfied but would return. Thank you Will for all that you do in a difficult industry but also taking extra steps and measure to ensure we were taken care of and will return. We need more managers like you!

this is the place to go for takeout for Chicago style deep dish pizza. (is the other stuff really pizza?) We love the lou, cheesy, spinach, tomatoes, and that great crust. there is no substitue. If you're visiting from somewhere esle, this is one place to go to get a true taste of Chicago pizza. (we also like the penne with meat sauce)

Counterintuitive review, you got me to pay $41 for a large thin crust pizza hahaha.

It's Lou's what else can you say? If you've never had a Lou Malnati's deep dish pizza then treat yourself (and your friends) with a deep dish Chicago Classic (I personally get them uncut for take out). You will not be sorry!

The crust of the pan pizzas just keeps getting thinner. Not the same quality it used to be. But the biggest problem now is that they are using Doordash for delivery. The last pizza we ordered was totally cold and the one before had toppings that slid all the way to one side. The manager did credit us for the slid pizza and apologized, so I gave 3 stars for Service. Delivery service is 1 star.
